I'd had no problem with this for several years, so when it suddenly stopped turning on one day I was puzzled. Despite its battery requirement, the device is also plug-in and has a plug. There is nothing that caused the device to stop working. Despite changing the batteries, I could not get it to work. There were multiple outlets that I tried without success. In regards to the warranty, I've contacted the company three times, but I have not heard back. Having said that, although the product worked well for a while, I'm disappointed that I couldn't succeed in getting the issue resolved and getting a new one.

I've noticed that my trusty scale of ten years is showing signs of wear and tear. This was a shiny new scale that I purchased and plugged it in after I unpacked it, but it did not balance to zero after 30 minutes of sitting. I exchanged it the next day and got the replacement yesterday. I unpacked, plugged it in and it worked once again. During the cycle of the scale, the numbers go up and down I find it totally infuriating. This is going in the trash for good and I'm buying another brand. This has cost me two weeks of wait time and not being able to post new items to I'm hoping the next scale is the one.
