Is this something I can use to get computer screen graphics off of a computer? Has a little grip been added to the wheel, or is the wheel hard plastic? Do I need to print? I'm trying to avoid having to print. ?

My guess is no. Using a wheel made of hard plastic is nearly impossible in any case with hopes of achieving accuracy

I believe it can only be used for paper plans of full size. Plastic is used to make the wheel.

Do you have this feature as a map reader that can do miles as well? The map Scalex Wheel did not have any options for locking and muting. What features does this have?

I would expect you could, as the "custom" setting allows you to configure the scale to suit your needs.

This is a very versatile and good value product

Thanks to the custom scales, I can easily calibrate this to read nautical miles directly on my chart. As I note each leg on the route, I have my memory add function add up each leg. There is no intuitive way to program the scale, so do not throw away the manual. There was only one time I needed to do it. * The only flaw is that the measurement is tainted by rolling forward and backward at the same time. In order to undo errors, it is more useful to subtract when going backward.

I am not sure how to get there

Several friends on a Facebook page recommended this product for measuring distance on a map. Because I am not a contractor, architect or builder, I am not able to understand any of the instructions. It could be that the problem is due to that. If someone was only looking to use the device to measure the distance on a map, there were no instructions on how to use it.

It should not be dropped! A custom scale can be programmed relatively easily

For the 1 inch equal to 150 feet, I needed. On the first day, I dropped it and broke the display. One was not enough and we had to get.

It's a good product, but it comes with dead batteries when I received it. That's why I gave it 3 stars. I had to purchase button batteries for $12.

There are a couple of other versions of this digital scale measure, but this one is my favorite. A great deal of accuracy and ease of use are on offer. I am thrilled with both the product and the price I received it for, as well as the fact that I ordered it on Amazon prime and had it shipped the following day.
