When I first got it, I put it through its paces with a variety of weights ranging from a bag of flour to a computer to tires. I weighed them on a certified scale borrowed from a friend and compared the results. The weights were within 2 ounces of his certified scale in every case, so I'd say the one I got is pretty accurate.

It appears to be a fairly durable scale, and I've had no issues using it in that weight range. However, I believe that, due to the scale's size, if you are consistently weighing close to 200lb crates of seafood that may be roughly placed on the scale, it will wear out fairly quickly. Furthermore, if there is moisture from the crates, I do not believe it is water proof. This scale, in my opinion, is more of an office item that is ideal for super heavy-weight items on rare occasions. I'm very pleased with my scale purchase, which I use for ecommerce shipping. I'm also a fan of the color. Christina - ( Seattle

It was purchased less than 4 months ago and has only been used a few times, weighing no more than 100 pounds at a time; however, after only 3 months, it stopped working (and was stuck at zero pounds). Returning for a replacement while the scale is under warranty is roughly half the price of the scale. In my opinion, it is not worth the effort.
I used it yesterday and it worked perfectly, but when I tried to weigh a package to send today, all I got was zeros. New batteries were tried, but they didn't work. For troubleshooting, I went to the Accuteck website, but couldn't find the product; I went back to Amazon to look at reviews, and there were plenty of people complaining about the same thing! Take their word for it! You never know if you'll strike it rich, so why take a chance? Nothing would entice me to purchase an Accuteck!.
It has been purchased. For the first few months, it worked fine. I bought it in July, and it no longer weighs anything as of yesterday. No matter how much weight you put on it, it reads 00. I tried a lot of different things but couldn't seem to find anything that worked. The precision of the weighing appeared to be off, as well. It could vary by up to half a pound.
I don't recommend it because it stopped working a month after I started using it, and you can't see anything on the screen.

Even on a thin carpet on top of concrete, heavy items can be carried. However, the test for "weighing people" was performed. " In order to get more information, I had to call the phone number on the warranty sheet. " It seemed like an eternity for the numbers to rise to the point where someone could be weighed. minutes! However, I was testing on the same carpet, which was already accurate for an item weighing less than five pounds. The numbers advanced much faster and stabilized once the scales were moved to a bathroom floor, making it possible to read them. The final reading was "locked" so that the person could get off the scales and the reading would remain until the on/off/tare button was released. br>So it gets a "10" for the final reading, but it gets a "3" for the LONG emotional wait if you need a scale like this to weigh yourself. awaiting the numbers on the scales to continue to rise! That leash is VERY USEFUL if you have a beer gut, a large stomach or breasts, a bad back, or are off balance and can't see your reading on the floor. For years, I've been looking for a good scale for my grandmother. She is required to weigh herself every day for medical reasons, but standard home scales will not accurately weigh her. Because she is slow and unsteady, most scales have an error, shut down, or give a very inaccurate reading by the time she gets on them and stands alone. While these scales are simple to use, they simply weigh whatever is placed on them and remain on until you turn them off. They appear to be accurate to within a pound or two of the doctor's scales.
This scale was originally designed for refrigerant tanks, so I know exactly how much refrigerant is used for each system charge. The only issue I had was that the scale would shut down every 2 minutes, so I had to keep turning it back on and lifting the heavy tank up and carefully placing it back on the scale in order to maintain an accurate reading. There had to be a way to prevent it from shutting down, but it was too late once I began the project.
We liked the scale because my girl friend is legally blind and it was easy for her to see when she used it as a bathroom scale. It was purchased on October 9, 2015, and we really liked it. After 6 weeks, however, it stopped working. It powers up and the button controls appear to work, but the display only shows zero. We moved it to a new location and forgot to take the warranty card with us, so I'm looking for Accuteck's contact information.
