Product Description

Small (200g x 0.01) 001g scale: uses high-precision gravity sensors to deliver precise weighing results (accuracy: 0. Weighing amount: >0, 001g 005g, The error range is within a factor of ten. 005g), with Tare, pcs Counting, Calibration, and the ability to set an auto-off time.
This scale has two power supply modes: it can be powered by an AAA battery or it can be powered by connecting to a power supply via USB wire. It cannot be recharged.
Good quality: 200 grams of weighing capacity in 0. Even the weight of a feather can be weighed in 001 gram increments. The FCC, CE, and ROHS have all given their approval to this scale. JJG99-2006, Level: M1, has approved the 100g weight. Offer. If your logistics are damaged or missing, you will receive a free replacement.
It can be used as a laboratory scale, a jewelry scale, a powder scale, and a carat scale, among other things. EASY TO USE: It's small enough to fit in your pocket, but big enough to read comfortably.
The set comes with a carrying case, tweezers, a plastic pan, a tray, and a 100g calibration weight. 2 AAA batteries (included) are required to operate the device.

Questions & Answers

Is there a way to make it work in micrograms?

This scale measures in milligrams rather than micrograms. br>br>In the metric system (SI, International System of Units), the microgram (mcg or g) is the unit of mass. A microgram (mcg or g) is a unit of measurement that equals one thousandth of a gram. The gram (g) represents a thousandth of a thousandth of a br>br>In the metric system (SI, International System of Units), the milligram (mg) is the unit of mass. A milligram (mg) is a unit of measurement that equals one thousandth of a kilogram (kg). 001 gram (g) is the smallest unit of measurement in the English language.

Would a scale with a 50g or 100g capacity be better for weighing old gold jewelry?

Because a 50 gram scale can only weigh 50 grams at a time, if you have more than 50 grams of gold, you'll have to weigh it in increments of 50 grams. If you have 83 grams of gold, you must weigh 50 grams first, then the remaining 33 grams. Whereas if you got the 100 gram scale, you'd be able to use it right away. I have the 100 gram scale, which I think is a fantastic scale. If my current one breaks, I'll buy it again.

Is it normal for the screen to flicker when I press the buttons, or is mine defective?

Normal

Is it possible to improve the accuracy and precision of this scale by calibrating it with smaller weights from a set of analytical weights?

No, as previously stated, the scale only calibrates with an OIML Class M2 (included). You can check the balance with a set of calibration weights, such as an OIML Class M2 or ASTM Class 6 or better weight set ranging from 1 mg to 100g. Keep in mind that the weight set will be more expensive than the balance. br>br>I have a set of calibrated ATM Class 7 (1 mg to 100 g) calibration weights that I know to the nearest /-. ten milligrams br>br>A set of weights like that can be used to test linearity, repeatability, and pan loading. I would check pan loading and repeatability with a 10 g weight for this balance.

According to the numbers
3/5

On December 14, 2020, I purchased this balance. (I work in a lab) I recently calibrated a set of calibration weights against NIST traceable weights. I finished balancing the entire system. The figures can be found in the image and in the table below. br>br>The Linearity Test reveals that the response is good up to 20 mg, after which it is marginal at best and nonexistent at worst. As a result, the effective dosage range is 20 mg to 100 g. br>br>The Corner Load Test is good, indicating that the balance is fairly accurate even when the load is off center. br>br>The Repeatability Test demonstrates that the measurement is accurate. Every time you ask a question, you should get the same response /- 1 mg. br>br>I would have preferred to be able to measure down to 1 mg, but those balances are much more expensive. D. I'd buy this scale again because it's simple to use
5/5

Scale is good. Simple to use, with a large, readable display and reasonable, consistent accuracy. This scale is used to calculate powder charges for 9mm and 40 S cartridges. W and . 223/5. a total of 56 rounds of ammunition; The range is four. From 9 to 26 grains A zero plus/minus. I think 1 grain is a good amount. In most cases, the variance is zero. To the charge weight I'm aiming for, I've added 05 grains per charge. br>br>When pressing the mode buttons, the battery cover on the bottom of the unit did not fit perfectly, causing the scale to rock. It's more of a bother than anything. Simple fix: I placed one 1/4" felt pad on each bottom corner of the scale, and it now sits perfectly.

This scale has been very accurate and is a good value for money
5/5

I did a lot of testing with "test weights" from other scales I own - It appears to be correct. It is sensitive and responds quickly: putting it to use in reloading - responds to a few HUNDREDTHS of a grain and appears to be precise, repeatable, and consistent. I can count/predict the number of powder granules that will fall to see this small increase. This is likely overkill, but it's nice that it's so sensitive. Battery life with the included battery was adequate - only lasted about three minutes Use for four weeks at a time at a rate of two. Three days a week, three hours per day. I'm not sure if a "name brand" battery would be more effective - Since then, I've been powering it with a USB power cable from a power strip with USB power output, and it's been working flawlessly. br>br>My own display is "off white" on black - The contrast is excellent, and the screen is crisp and clear. Buttons are clearly labeled and have a nice crispness to them. It's simple to push, but it's not so flimsy that it'll accidentally bump into something. Changing modes, tare, and calibrating are all simple enough. br>br>Came in a well-padded box and was well-protected. When I'm not using it, I keep it in this box to keep it safe. br>br>At a fraction of the cost of reloading, I bought this scale. Over the last 20 years, company-branded electric scales have become increasingly precise and accurate. I no longer recommend the more expensive scales; instead, get this one. br>br>The only drawback I see with this scale is that, in contrast to the scale's high quality feel, the included pan is very light and cheaply made, and it pours poorly. Meh, for the price, I can use one of my other scales' pans, so it's not worth docking a star given how pleased I am with it otherwise.

IT APPEALS TO ME
5/5

I'm using it to reload brass, and I've only had it for a few hours. br>First and foremost, it's accurate; second, you can turn off the auto shutoff, which is a great featurebr>very sensitive and quick to respond; if you add/remove a few kernels of powder, it will read very quicklybr>easy to read displaybr>br>only two flaws: 1 when you press the buttons (due to is that the display will flicker when you press the buttonsbr>br>another good feature is that it comes with a usb cable, so you can plug it in, load your powder, and never worry about it shutting off in the middle of itbr>I had four different scales in my cart, but I think this is the one to keep. The tweezers are useless because they aren't even large enough to hold the 100g calibration weight that came with it, and the little plastic It reads quickly and accurately. br>.

The scales are enormous
5/5

Both were purchased by me - To compare and cross-reference, there are 50g and 100g versions, both of which are accurate in terms of weight. br>The following are some of the advantages of these scales: The digits were large and easy to read, the results were quick, accurate, and repeatable, and both scales I purchased showed the same weight. br>Before that, I had Frankford Arsenal, which lasted only 6 months before it stopped showing any numbers. br>Gem20 started to drift, and the results were inconsistent, slow, and small.
