My grandmother was packing a set of Noritake china in the 'Norma' pattern that she had received around 1970 and that had been stuffed with news and other papers. These foam pouches have made the process far easier and faster than it would have been if it had been done with paper. Each one is individually wrapped! br>I am confident that the china will store (or even ship) them in excellent condition. They're a good thickness and big enough for all but the biggest platter, where I used two end to end. To accommodate the extra width and length, a section of one edge was split halfway. My only suggestion for better packaging is that the vendor provide a narrower width for cups and small plates. I found an alternative brand that appeared to be of comparable quality and thickness, but which, despite being only 7, did not cost any less per pouch. These are much thicker and nicer than anything I could find locally, measuring 5 inches wide. I'm so pleased with them that I purchased a second bundle to use for packing the smaller items. Using paper instead of valuable items.
Each season, I enjoy changing out the decor, but I despise packing up the items to store them. I despise all of the tissue paper and wrapping. I now use the pouches to store my breakables, simply slipping them in and tucking them into the bin. They are both reusable and durable. Protective but not overly so (takes up no additional storage space). br>I recently returned from college to bring my son home. I knew he'd be moving out soon, so I needed neatly packed storage and moving bins. They are exactly as described, arrived neatly packaged, and on time; there were no disappointments, only a great product.
Individual pouches are large enough to fit a small serving plate or a dinner plate with plenty of room, and the foam is thin and flexible enough to be used for a variety of objects. You get a lot of them as well - There are 50 in each package! They were used on a large set of china that I received from my mother. It's a lot less messy and takes up a lot less space than paper, and I'm confident the pieces will be safe.
These are not to be missed. My grandparents' vintage and delicate plates and glasses were wrapped in paper when I moved. These were ordered to keep the dishes safe while they were being stored in our basement. They're incredibly simple to use; simply open and slide the item inside. They can hold both small and large plates and glasses. They can be used over and over again. Many people purchase items like this with the expectation that they will only be used once. Because you can reuse this product, you get the most bang for your buck. When I move, I'm going to order a lot more of these.
Oh, these were great for getting around. During the relocation, nothing was broken. Foam pouches and dish paper were among the items I purchased. Wrapping and unwrapping the pouches was a breeze. I used clear plastic totes with fragile stickers to pack my foam-packed dishes and glasses. I had hoped for some sort of breakage, but there wasn't any.
Packing up 50-year-old china to ship across the country was a breeze with these packing pouches. They're a high-quality item that makes packing dishes, bowls, and cups a breeze. The pouches were large enough to hold a dinner plate and large enough to wrap around a cup while protecting the handle. This is a product I would recommend.
The size is excellent, and there is no odor. I think they'll last long enough for me to use them again. br> If the material was eco-friendly, I would give them a 5 star rating. However, it's worth noting that I did use a few of these to fill gaps between my windows in order to insulate them better!.
The mirror round piece serves as the base. I was looking for a base protector for the centerpieces that I was giving away. This is fantastic!! Our guests won't have to worry about the mirror base breaking if they take the centerpiece home. It's also useful for storing fragile items.
