Yes, you can put your shoes on the bottom of the table. These are extremely durable boxes.
Yesterday, I was in the process of packing my closet boxes. I made use of the $1 plastic hangers. I also used clear plastic hangers with metal hanging components that are used to hang clothes in stores (about 50) that can be purchased at Walmart/Kmart, etc. Both worked perfectly, as long as the velvet hangers have hooks that are the same size as my hangers.
Call Amazon's customer service and they'll assist you and send you a replacement.

I managed to cram 50 t-shirts into my bag. I could probably fit a few more shirts into the first box if I needed to. I do, however, use the thinner velvet hangers. With regular plastic hangers, I'm confident I wouldn't be able to fit nearly as much into the box. The metal bar is extremely strong and should be able to hold whatever you decide to put inside the box.
I bought these to store all of my belongings as I prepare to move. I bought two sets of three because I have a lot of clothes and almost all of them are hung up. The boxes are sturdy and have small holes on the sides that make it easy to carry them. When I bought them, they were a lot less expensive. I'm not convinced that $60 for three is a good deal. That's how much I paid for six, so if I were you, I'd wait for the price to drop.
These were purchased in preparation for a relocation from Maryland to Texas. My husband's Tall XXL shirts fit well in the large box, while my XL shirts fit well in the small box. They are extremely durable and can withstand stacking. Not only for moving, but also for storing anything you want. They can also be used as a protective barrier when doing arts and crafts or as a place to store items that should not be on the ground.

Despite the fact that they provided the exact same dimensions as the other boxes, these boxes are not the same size as the others I've ordered. These 34- inch "short" wardrobe boxes are the perfect size for shorter items such as dress shirts, blouses, folded pants, and so on. br>br>Anyone who has used "regular" sized wardrobe boxes for short hanging items knows how top heavy those boxes are, causing them to easily tip over; these "short" wardrobe boxes solve that problem perfectly.
I won't be able to use one of the boxes because I don't have a place to hang my clothes! That was the whole point of getting these things in the first place! What a letdown!.
We bought these because we didn't want to remove the shirts from the hangers while transporting them. The metal bar is very strong and should be able to hold whatever you decide to put inside the box, but keep in mind the weight limits. If it weren't for the price, I'd order these for all of my clothes, but I'd limit myself to the ones that wrinkle the most.
