As the months and years passed, I became obsessed with organizing everything into these fantastic folders. Then it occurred! br>br> January of the following year. Heating pipes in apartments began to burst, sending hot steam and water throughout some of my neighbors' living rooms as a result of the extreme drop in temperature in NYC. The local New York Fire Department was called in to help. It was so common that people were erecting tents in the hallways. Two of the spaces on my floor were completely destroyed, and the tenants were forced to relocate with their children until the apartments could be repaired. This is a matter of weeks! br>br>Water began seeping down my walls and windows onto my books and magazines as a result of the freezing wind hitting the hot radiator pipes in the apartment above mine! Following the first accident, I dashed to the hardware store and purchased plastic floor covering, which I used to cover everything. It doesn't matter if it's books, magazines, or tablets. And, of course, the stack of magazines (my beloved Donna Hay magazines, et al) was well-protected by the plastic envelopes. They were sitting right next to the leaking water! br>br>I snatched the plastic envelopes from the table and wiped them clean with a towel. Then I noticed that four back issues of Donna Hay magazines were missing their covers! They had been ruined, to say the least. I had to dry them for days, but they were ruined. You can see how much back issues of her magazines are now selling for on Amazon, and you can see how much money I lost! So, who's to blame? Mine! I hadn't put these issues in the plastic legal envelopes for some reason! Everything else (whew! ), (whew! ), (whew! ), It was possible to save! br>br>I will continue to order this product for many years! I re-read the last one as soon as I finish it. Amazon should be contacted for a new set. I've gone to famous Manhattan stationery stores, but they don't have this size or strength. br>br>I can't express how grateful I am to the creators of these life and magazine savers! Thousands of dollars would have been lost if I hadn't protected my library, and I would have been in a Bellevue padded room! That's the location of our mental health facility! br>br>If you have tax documents, birth certificates, passports, DMV items, rent leases, or anything else, put it all in one of these large legal envelopes and rest easy. In the event of a fire or other pipe disaster (please, Lord, no!) I can go to the chest of drawers, grab my documents, and flee! If you don't order some for yourself, I guarantee you'll kick yourself later for not doing so. Because life has become so unpredictable and chaotic, having a backup for your personal information is essential. If you collect magazines and first editions like I do, this is a must-have piece of equipment. Do you want to be at ease? Sure, why not?.
These sleeves were purchased to store vaccine cards as well as childhood vaccine record books. PVC (polyvinyl chloride) is used to make most vaccine card storage sleeves on the market today. Due to the acid content, which causes the paper to disintegrate, based plastic is not recommended for long-term storage of paper. br>br>These are strong but flexible, and they're well-made. It's well-made and transparent. The colors appeal to me, and the polypropylene is suitable for storing papers. If you're still not sure, look up "archival paper storage," but these are the ones you'll need.
These JAM Paper envelopes appeal to me. The plastic, as well as the button/string closure, appear to be strong and long-lasting. For my purposes, I prefer the mixed colors. I use them as a closed file folder for a variety of materials that I need to keep organized. Because I've only had them for a few months, I'm not sure how long they'll last. So far, everything seems to be going swimmingly. I just placed an additional order. I'd suggest it.
I use these envelopes to store finished and partially finished projects, as well as ink spots and stamp sets. I can see the project insert and contents because the envelope is opaque. They can be expanded to accommodate the bulky ink spot, embellishments, and stamps. The size is perfect, and I'm very pleased with my purchase.
I recently purchased a slightly smaller size of the plastic envelopes to organize my desk drawers and hold bulletin board cutouts. Anything that helps me organize my "stuff" as a teacher is a welcome benefit. I bought these because some of my items were too large for the other envelopes. Because they're made of plastic, they're both durable and reusable. The string closure ensures that they remain closed and that the contents do not spill out. The bright color is uplifting while also being eye-catching. to make it easier to find what you're looking for. I am very happy with the product, and it is ideal for the job.
Nothing can fall out or become soiled, and it isn't a dog-proof folder. eared as a result of use They're also useful for keeping all those Bed, Bath, and Kitchen cabinets tidy. I keep coupons and craft store coupons in my car so I'll have them when I go to the store. See - through is fantastic!.
The product is fantastic in and of itself! However, I've placed THREE orders, each with a different price and quantity. The first order consisted of packages containing 12 envelopes that cost around $10. The price fell to around $8 with the second order. The last time I ordered, it cost almost $12 and only came with SIX envelopes! I teach card-making classes and fell in love with these Jam envelopes, which I planned to show to my students. I'm not only not going to share, but I'm also not going to order anything else. I'm extremely frustrated.
These small plastic envelopes are ideal for storing cash, index cards, and other small items. In the retirement community where I live, we have a small snack shop, and these work great for the volunteers to put their daily sales money in, secure it with a string tie, and then drop it in the drop box. They'd also be useful as household organizers.
