Mead 10 Security Envelopes, 40 Count (75214) , White

The majority of the reviews are good with a few negative comments. I'm uploading some photos for review, which basically do the job for me. bought them after reading some of the earlier reviews, which made us concerned about their safety. As for ours, we are happy to report that they met our requirements, at least. As I wrote on a piece of paper and wrote using a Sharpie, I inserted the document into one of the Mead #10 security envelopes. As I made my way to a sunny window, I held it up. It was then held over a 7 watt LED lamp that I used as a reference point. The photos show that the LED lamp made the writing somewhat legible, but not to an extreme degree. It would be helpful if a corner piece of paper was included in the answer. We send our bill payments with an invoice attached, which serves the same purpose as attached to the bill payment. The adhesive was a bit stingy, but we did find it to be a good choice A lack of attention was given to the flaps' edges. To prevent the mailings from getting caught on the postal equipment, they may require tape or UHU to seal them up. There is something archaic about these, as if they were designed for the days when automated mail was not in demand. It wasn't easy to open or close this box, and it required a rubber band to close it. I would consider them to be useful for basic bill payments and such (both functionally and price-wise) for something like 5 cents each. Sending a resume by mail might not be a good idea. You will be able to read everything right through this envelope if you hold it up. You should always put the check (or whatever else you want to keep personal) inside a piece of paper and fold it around your private check. Your document won't be secure in this envelope if you rely on it. Is there any reason to award 3 stars as opposed to LOL The OTHERS I have tried are even worse. As long as you place your check or document into another piece of paper before mailing the envelope, then it's fine to use a good quality envelope.

Reviews are read by people, yeah. How does the security envelope work? Not at all. I can clearly see what's inside with a flashlight after holding it up to the light. I can even read the smaller print when held up to the light. There's no way to secure it.
