My BlackComb water purification system is a perfect match for this. However, I do wish that these bulbs were not so costly. The bulb came with a reset key, which was a nice touch. My research into the effectiveness of UV light in purifying water, on the other hand, was a little more interesting, and I couldn't find any tests that proved conclusively or otherwise that this method of water purification works as claimed. In order to kill bacteria and purify water or other substances, the water or surface must be exposed to UV light for at least 30 seconds, if not much longer. So the question arose: how effective can this be if water is creaming through the tube past this bulb?.
I bought it for the second time because it's a great original part. Exceptional supplier.
