Questions & Answers

In what ways are warranties offered?

The 45-day window begins on September 25. These units, however, do allow the option of purchasing a post warranty for either onsite or AUR protection.

Could you please explain what I have to do to get a 1 year warranty?

It costs $1095 to have Fujitsu provide 1 year of warranty. Please place the order through Amazon for the scanner with HMB Inc and I will contact you to add on the 1 year warranty as soon as the order comes through. Your kind consideration is greatly appreciated. Hi Mark, I work for HMB

Selected User Reviews For Fujitsu FI-7700 Production Scan, PA03740-B005

best choice for people who need an ADF and a flatbed at the same time
4/5

As my seventh scanner purchase, I'm almost completely satisfied with this one. As a descendant of almosts and almosts, I've been through a lot Compared to my previous scanners, this one is faster and more efficient when it comes to capacity, ease of use, image quality, noise, and handling of paper. When I first got into scanning, I used cheap, single-sided scanners The user type, does not have any ADF for really competent document handling, but is great for capturing photos from magazines and newspapers. These were followed by an HP Scanjet 8290, which offered fair image quality and had a lot of misfeeds and errors. After that, it was a Fujitsu Compared to the 5220C, the 5220C had better images, faster speeds, and a more capable ADF, but was much less user-friendly In its user input requirements per scan, it is less friendly and more laborious. Next I bought This is not the Enterprise Flow model that is being sold There was still a lot of speed and easy-to-use features Fujitsu was more efficient with software, but was continuously plagued by problems The fan(s) were so loud that they caused my tinnitus to act up (which is why I learned to wear earplugs whenever I used them), the image quality was mediocre, and the ADF misfeeds were constant. Constant is what I mean It would take me standing on the edge of the table, putting downward pressure on underlying pages to keep them from constantly being grabbed by the bottom bit. There are three The scan is conducted every day, every time. In order to increase the acquisition resolution, I turned it up to at least 1. 2x The site would tend to slow down if it had poor quality images These errors are due to memory problems. Its weight made me hold onto it for much longer than I would have liked to simply because it is so heavy. Fujitsu laptop was much more expensive than HP N9120 - it's not just the price it was more expensive - it's the quality, too. It is still expensive enough that even if I were a SOHO user, I would stop and think long and hard before investing (even if I could write it off under the new tax laws). In any case, if you still need to work with a lot of paper documents, as I do, as well as occasionally need a flatbed, then I cannot recommend this printer It is enough to have 7700. I could not have been more pleased with its performance in the incredibly important area of ADF paper handling, as well as its capacity, image quality, and speed -- none of my previous scanners provided this level of performance. Despite this, it does not actually scan when it is not actually doing so. Here, there are no loud fans No fans at all. Definitely not a fan. Despite the fact that it has one of the most sophisticated ADF paper handling mechanisms I've ever used, I haven't had even one misfeed. I don't think so. It is getting one star off for still needing to be fixed software. If you've ever installed a more advanced system than an entry-level system, you know it can be Those familiar with scanners do know that installation is always a annoyance, and takes a very You will have to experiment with the settings of the software and try many things before you Even though "ScanSnap Manager" is excellent and easy to use, it sometimes fails to detect that the page is upside down, and the output file will display the text upside down. The included PaperStream Capture (I just use the Basic variant that Those who use the enterprise version will want to use the free desktop version included PaperStream Capture Pro) does a better job of recognizing an upside-down page and automatically flipping it in the output file, but it's more difficult to use overall, requiring more user input every time you scan, and it doesn't support one-touch scanning. The "Scan" button is located on the scanner itself so you can use it conveniently. I get a popup on the computer screen asking me what software I want to use if I don't use ScanSnap Manager, so I have to choose that when I press the scanner's Scan button. As a final point, PaperStream's Error Recovery Guide software seems to be troublesome by design. Software packages were installed on both my office PC and my work laptop, both running the 64-bit version of Windows 10 I hope so. Error Recovery Guide's tray applet failed to display any error information on either desktop computer Rather, it simply states "No information on the hardware status of the scanner. ". The following number of pages are included It's an error. I have noticed that both computers fail to restart or shut down when I click on the power icon. The Windows message I get says "The following programs are preventing your PC from rebooting/shutting down," with Error Recovery Guide on both systems. To turn off the "preventing shutdown" screen with the Registry, I needed to create a tweak. There is no need for a flatbed, but if you're using a paper-driven system, then you should get a flatbed When you need such a professional ADF mechanism but are unable to pay much for it, they offer a somewhat less expensive version, the fi-360 Furthermore, I also noticed that there are also a few models further up in the line that cost much more and only have ADFs The top priority for them seems to be this There is a model flatbed available.
