Keep an eye out and inspect! I liked the price, but after I installed it, I noticed stapler marks on about 1/5 of the sheets I printed

They started out small and easy to miss, but now they've grown in size and can be found on nearly every page. I looked at the printer parts to see what was wrong, and it appears that there are two bumps under the film on this unit that are exactly the same shape as the stapler marks on the printed pages. This was supposed to last 100,000 sheets because I print professional documents. It was defective when it arrived, but I'm out of luck now.

A unit that is defective

This printer only lasted about a month and had a broken toner clean out spring. It cost more to hire a service technician to diagnose the problem than it would have cost to buy a new unit.
