It's not as simple as it appears to be

Although the product performed admirably, I did not! Watch a YouTube video to learn how to put the printer, and specifically this roller, into service mode first. I did that, and the first roller was easy to remove, but the second was a little more difficult because the clips that held it in place came out when I removed the small roller. br>I gave the product 5 stars because it did exactly what it said it would after I took my printer to a printer repair shop to be fixed. She installed the kit, and the printer now works perfectly.

I worked on the Canon CM1415FNW printer

Googled how to get into the setup menu, then pulled the power cord, rotated the printer backwards [holding the scanner] (toner still in), and gently pryed open the left and right sides (top) of the roller, which came out easily. Then I inserted the new one, double-checked that it was secure, and returned the printer to its normal resting position. When I plugged it in, the test pages worked perfectly.

Before removing the paper and toner, make sure to follow the steps in the Service Menu. If you don't do this, the roller will not rotate to the replacement position.

Takes 5- Time limit: ten minutes br>Be sure to get the correct roller for your printer. br>It's been working flawlessly since I installed it. It's wonderful to be able to print multiple pages without having to manually clear a paper jam once more.
