I suppose it's fine. It'll do for the time being. I purchased it in order to print photos for my military husband. He doesn't have a lot of photos of himself and his son. (Since he passed away, I've been editing photographs of the two of them together. ) Occasionally, the images will have a lot of lines, are blurry, or have too much saturation.
Something about the color of the prints is off. I'm not sure what it is. These prints are scanned images of older photographs, so they're a little blurry and the color is already a little off, but the pictures have a distinct hue. This Kodak Step printer is still one of my favorites, but I prefer my Kodak Mini 2. The app for this photo printer includes editing tools, and you must use the app to print.
The photos are good, but they appear to be from the 1970s. If they are not placed in a frame within 20 minutes, they will begin to fold. It has a habit of having trouble connecting to our devices and disconnecting in the middle of a print job. In light of the foregoing, I believe it is a little overpriced.
This printer was a Christmas present for my daughter, and she adores it. She complimented me on how well I completed the task. lol.
Despite the fact that I had downloaded the KODAK app to my Android S10e, it would not connect or sync for some reason. With Android, it does not function properly.
I really enjoy having a small printer that I can use to print small photos. The image quality is excellent, and I can use it as stickers to embellish whatever I want.
After two pictures, the prints take on an odd hue. Despite the fact that it has been recalibrated.
I like that it's simple to set up and that I can print photos directly from my phone.
