Selected User Reviews For Brother VC-500W Versatile Compact Color Label and Photo Printer with Wireless Networking & Genuine CZ-1001 3/8” (0.37”) 9mm Wide x 16.4 ft. (5 m) Long Label roll Featuring Zink Zero Ink Technology
As other users have noted, the color does not print brightly. A discolored line can appear in the middle of the stickers from time to time. Even though the printer cartridge is installed, it keeps telling me that it isn't. I needed stickers for bath bombs and glass cosmetics, but the labels would not stick to anything other than paper (not plastic, for example). So, despite the fact that they are stickers, I must glue them. It continues to spit out blank white labels at random, which is a huge waste of money given the price of labels. I have to keep an eye on it because it keeps disconnecting from the internet. Rinse and repeat with "cartridge not installed," "not connected to the internet," "blank white sticker," "complete shut down," and "cartridge not installed. " Printing 30 labels takes an hour for me. br>I'd use a regular label sheet and printer if I didn't need different labels for each scent variation. These rolls are far too costly and time-consuming, and the blank stickers make my eyes twitch. If you plan on making a large number of the same stickers, I would avoid using this product. Using a regular printer with labels on a page is more convenient and less frustrating. In addition, it is less costly.
Even at the reduced price, it is not worth it. Before purchasing, I read a lot of reviews here and elsewhere and decided to give it a chance, which I now regret. This printer is a complete nightmare.
I was unable to print this unit. I figured it was something I had done incorrectly, so I had a technician come in and fix it. Even the technician was unable to get it to work after an hour or so. br>br>Unfortunately, I had to send it back.
It wasn't quite what I had expected. The actual label was not to my liking because it did not adhere well. The machine in and of itself performed admirably.
After a month, I decided to stop working. I attempted to troubleshoot it but was unsuccessful.
