Selected User Reviews For Canon Pixma Pro9500 Professional Large Format Inkjet Printer (0373B001AA)
It prints outstanding prints to this day. On the basis of the reviews that were rated 4 and 5 stars, I purchased this printer. The reviews below the 4 star ratings were from a different printer and so should not have been included in the review section of this printer. To make a long story short, this printer prints amazing prints with the best color resolutions I have ever seen, including at professional shops. agree that the prints of the ink wells are expensive and that with each print, the decision must be made with the greatest consideration since ink must be used and replacement does not come cheap. My printer uses Canon Photo Paper Plus Glossy II stock to print 13x19 photos. It has been a pleasure to work with these prints. Each print I make, I can't help but stare at it two or three times, not to admire the colors, but to search for flaws. In my own opinion, I am extremely pleased with this printer, although I cannot speak on behalf of others. Having bought it on the day that I needed it, it has served me well. It may be a good idea to remember. Whether you are a frequent printer like me, or a more casual one, you should always check and clean your print heads every couple of weeks. In order to ensure that the print heads are clean, there is only a small amount of ink that needs to be used (if the heads are in good shape). As a rough estimate, I have had to replace nearly all of the ink wells at least five times since I bought it. As a print enthusiast, I realize I don't print as much as you do, but this printer works for me for what I need it for. The printer is a great addition to my office. Besides the HP LaserJet Pro 400 M451dn color printer, I also have a HP LaserJet Pro 400 M451dn color printer which I use only for printing 8x11 documents that have text. All 13x19 prints are printed by the Canon 9500 Pro.
Printers such as this one are not for anyone who prefers an easy, no fuss way to print. The printer works well with print sizes up to 13 x 19 inches, but some attention to the directions is required on the user's part. I have had very good results from this on pearl paper. I have been using it with my IMAC with no problems. Canon utilities for this printer work well. A high resolution printer that uses pigment inks lasting for up to a year. The printer uses 10 ink cartridges and a 4800 x 2400 dpi resolution. The price of a cartridge value pack is about $115. I think [. As a result, there is no margin, so the image is The type of paper you choose when you print with Canon's utility determines whether the borderless print option will be available. /B> /B>.
Throughout my operating life, I have used a variety of photo printers, the last being I did not notice much difference between HP's papers and B&W's with just about any type of paper HP has a lot of different types of paper and I did not notice much difference between their papers and the B&W's However, the variety pack I got and printed on there Glossy Art Paper boy did the colors just pop and I printed them out using the Photoshop color profile. It was amazing the color matching the printer was right on and it has the best B&W that I've ever used. It is the first Canon I've owned I was greatly impressed with the photos even up to a flat feed size of 13X19. Another thing I liked was the flat feed you can print on thick paper stock this is my first Canon, and HP has lost a possible It doesn't go through ink like crazy. I have only used it on 8 standard 8X10 and 2 13X19 size prints since it went through ink rapidly. Four of the 10 ink tanks are However, the cartage is relatively small and expensive it costs 150 dollars. The last time I paid so much for something that might last until the end of next week, I only paid 30 for 10. Of course, you know the old saying "You Get What You Pay For. ".
As long as you tell the printer what paper you want to use, it will output good results. Otherwise, it will not. I am currently printing on matte cardstock for my personal portfolio, but I intend to use it in the future for some photographs. It is possible to print on virtually anything, once you correctly set up your settings. The only complaint I have is that it does not print to the edge. Is this a glitch I have not noticed yet? Since the ink has lasted me so long, I would stock up on matte black if I weren't using it for photos because it tends to get used faster. AWESOME printer. LOVE LOVE LOVE it. is really not as big as people say it is. I have my printer sitting on my counter and if I do not have to use the hand feed, it is fine. Don't listen to those who complain about its size, this printer is amazing.
My printer has been working fine for a number of months now, and I haven't encountered any problems so far. Please make sure that you have the space available for this large project. As a back up printer, I use it in case I need something ASAP. It is printed on Illford Pearl paper and it is crisp, sharp, and bright. Color adjustment wasn't an issue for me. I am running Adobe CS3 on the laptop. A total of 45 prints have been made You get 50 8x10 prints and still have lots of ink right out of the box, and four 10x13 prints in full color on gloss paper. I have no problems using the printer, but if I need to provide a client with something, I cannot do so. As long as it is still an ink jet printer, I will use my service. Little league team pictures and the like can be printed on home computers, but portraits of the family require professional printing.
This is fantastic (if you're running Windows XP). You should be prepared for problems printing using Adobe Elements on Vista. There is no help area for the 9500 in Canon's Vista online manual You need to go to another source to find the right driver (Canon's help desk helped me find the right site). Although I am able to print every paper size with Vista and Adobe Elements 5, I cannot print every paper size with Pages. Insufficient to make a difference In some cases, a half page will print, in others only an inch, and sometimes even the entire picture will print There's no such thing as a sure thing. Elements 5 and XP are both used. I have no issues with anything. It is possible for me to print successfully using Vista and Canon's software.
*BR>This is the best print quality I've ever seen! It is a printer I recommend highly.
A very nice photo comes out of this printer. Compared to the ones you get at the store, they look pretty similar. The photo program that came with the printer works with raw images and I'm not an expert in using them. It uses raw image files, and I'm not experienced working with all, I find getting through the software the most difficult part, but the printer produces exceptional pictures.
Thank you. Ink is an expensive item, but there are discount offers out there that can help. Thank you. Regards. There are many ways to use it, but Gordon/number one is the best.
