It still prints large even after dividing the paper, installing the program (it won't see the printer), and adding the paper divider. Changing the paper width is easy, but how do I do that?

That is correct. You do not need to print a receipt in order for the cash drawer to open automatically. A cash drawer will only open automatically in case of cash transactions. In the Square application, you can automatically open the cash drawer by choosing the "No Sale" option. Alternatively, you can locate the key in the cash drawer and open it manually with the key. In order to use this bundle, the Square Stand must be provided.

I bought this for my Shopify POS setup on my iPad, and so far, it's working well. Despite the fact that I despise printed receipts, my store requires them because it takes too long to enter a phone number or email address. Everything fit together perfectly and was in excellent condition by the time it was delivered. I was able to easily connect everything and set it up. It must be connected to your receipt printer via a USB to lightning cable for this to work on your iPad. The iPad is also charged automatically when you plug it in. It is convenient when you do cash transactions to have the cash drawer open automatically. As well as the outer till, the inner till can be removed.

There was damage to the cash drawer, which was stuck shut

We are unable to do so. There was damage to the cash drawer, which was stuck shut. The drawer cannot be used with our POS and since it is a bundled item I cannot just return it. For your sanity, you should buy first a drawer and then the other one.

Despite the price, this is an awful product

It will not connect to the square checkout stand. No instructions are included in the package for setting it up. My device will not connect. I am not able to return this product because I opened it the day after the return policy had ended. An error on the part of 350 caused a loss of 350.
