I really want to like it, but it keeps giving me different numbers for the same item every time. It appears to be off by about 3%, which could be 3% high or 3% low. I can turn a pot on and off, on and off, on a level surface with no vibrations, and get different numbers every time, so this is useless to me. I make soap, and if my lye concentration was too high and my oil concentration was too low, I'd have dangerous soap!.
It's funny, I bought this scale specifically to be able to easily read the numbers. and it did not let me down. The scale and the Digital Readout are separate parts, and the Digital Readout has a LARGE number and a LIT display, which is fantastic. That display is suspended from a wire that can be moved away from the base or hung on the wall. This makes it easier to weigh large boxes because the numbers on the display can now be read.
