If you are looking for a good budget label maker, you might be having a hard time choosing between these 2 models (like I did). My recent purchase of this model is my favorite so far I also had the opportunity to use a Dymo as well, and I think this one tops them both. I conducted a few tests to determine whether my printing would be durable and to test the print quality. My white label is printed with a Brother, and my clear label was printed with a Dymo (I did not have access to a Dymo with white Generally, the basic print quality for a standard font is the same on each platform. As you can see, both Brother's labels held up great during and after a cycle through the dishwasher. Brother advertises its labels as laminated, and after sanding the letter D on the wood with 600 grit sandpaper, they held up very well. There is no doubt in this case that the Brother is the winner. I also want to mention some other points. There have been some negative reviews that claim the brother wasted tape with extra-large margins, however you must have overlooked the fact that the margins are adjustable, with a default of 1 inch, but you can easily adjust it to Sometimes, however, the margins will be small enough that one of the sides will be larger, and include a cut mark, in which case you will have to manually cut the sheet. On the silicone label, you can see an outline lettering, a drop shadow, and a fancy bracket. It surprised me to find out that the drop shadow even worked with things like symbols, so if you put a heart in there, for example, that heart will also have a drop shadow. In terms of menus, they were quite intuitive and easy to navigate. It was pretty easy to find most settings, and I only needed to refer to the instructions a couple In general, I am very pleased with my purchase. It is supposedly even better than the Brother PT-R (I haven't tried it yet), but you will have to step up to the Brother PT-X There is also D210 that has more fonts, symbols, etc, but for my needs at least this one is working well

The software works well with the exception of an annoying but fairly significant A lot of readers have pointed out that tape is not cheap, and there is a lot of waste when a label is applied. There is a reason for this due to where the cutter is located. In this situation, you can only "workaround" by printing a new set of labels for every new print that you make. Even with 'continuous' enabled, you would still waste tape, but the more labels you print in one session (with the continuous setting engaged), the less you would.

My original Brother P-53 printer was punctured, so I bought this one to replace it My hand-held label maker was a touch-based device that I had for I received this today, and it is exactly what I wanted. While it does not have all of the bells and whistles that you might find with other label makers, some might be disappointed with the limited number of fonts it offers - at least the choices it offers are a lot better than those of other label makers. There are plenty of options to choose from The only things I need are you. It's especially nice that I can adjust the margins, which I never had with my last one, and the large margins were always a waste of tape when I had it. My favorite aspect of cable label making is also the ability to design my own. The instructions provided are very detailed and clear. I like how easy it is to use, how little space it takes up, how sturdy it is and how nice it prints I like how the label looks. There is an option to connect an adapter versus using batteries I like that It looks like the batteries in this label maker will last for several months, though it is similar to the one I used before.

Because I have never had a label maker go bad (eight in almost 30 years), I thought we'd simply have to return it. I saved $11 on this purchase by buying a refurbished model. right to identify that the box was torn, but everything else appeared fine. This is my fifth Brother labeler (the previous four You can easily print labels in five minutes without reading any instructions on how to use this machine. The truth is that for most people, something like this is all that's needed.

In addition, the gap on each end of their labels is shorter than that of brothers, so you can potentially save even more in The font on Letratag is more solid in my opinion Moreover, if you care about clarity, you might want to go with the eldest. The clear tape of Brother is more glossy and transparent, while the clear tape of Letratag is somewhat semi-transparent. There is a light white tint to it, and it has more of a matte texture.

This label does the job and is easy to use even though I am not an expert in labeling. I find the marginal thing a little annoying, but using the cheaper tape doesn't make much difference. The cord and labeler are sold separately, which is silly as the cord costs more than the labeler. To date, I have only used batteries for the labeler and I don't use it all the time, so I haven't had to change them yet, and I have had it for about 2 years now. We have been using binge labels for 3 months and have labeled all the kids toys, the kitchen including the fridge (I went a little nuts with the 3rd kid), our laundry room and the kid's closet to give you an idea of how long the battery lasts.
