Inside a mailing envelope, it came in a light-weight packaging box. I ended up returning the first one (as well as the replacement they sent) because both scales seemed to have trouble maintaining a stable and consistent weight. I was extremely dissatisfied with the way the scales were delivered.
10g/ 0. 4oz
A small bag might be able to be weighed, but a small suitcase is a different story. It has the capacity to hold up to 86 pds, according to reports. I only weigh small packages for EBay shipping, so I can't speak to larger weights. However, the scale is fantastic! It appeals to me.

br>(5/22/20)br>I purchased this to get exact weights of packages I'll be shipping out soon. Prints are mostly sent in rigid mailers. I needed a scale that was precise to the tenths of a millimeter. So far, everything has gone well! I didn't have any calibration weights with me, and apparently a lot of the ones on Amazon aren't accurate, so I took it upon myself to look up the weight of an official product, such as a Nintendo Switch Lite or my iPhone without the case, and compare it to the weight shown on the scale. There's no need to calibrate it because it's perfectly accurate. br>br>The product is ridiculously simple to use, with a variety of weight options to choose from. (LB, LB. The calibration instructions, however, slightly perplex me (OZ, OZ, KG, G). (Thank goodness I didn't have to calibrate anyway)br>br>One thing I did notice about the product is that below the scale surface/pad where you weigh things, there's an open hole with exposed wire and what I assume is some sort of motherboard or chip. Just in case, keep this somewhere dust-free. br>br>Honestly, for the price, it's a great deal.
I weighed the same 5 items three times, each time in a different order,,,, the items were all about 5lb different in weight,,,, but all items weighed the same every time. br>I like that it has dual power, both battery and plugging into a 110 outlet, so I can use it wherever I want.
The purchase of this product was the best decision I've ever made; it's been extremely accurate, and I've never had a problem with it. It appeals to me. br>I wish it were a little larger so I could weigh larger items, but that's about it.
This scale piqued my interest because it was one of the few that met a few basic requirements:
- br>br>br>br>br>br>br>b does not have the ability to auto-complete shutoff (annoying if you have to weigh a lot of things throughout the day)br>- does not emit a grating beeping noisebr>- reasonable pricebr>br>The issue is that the scale is completely useless when it comes to actually weighing things. When you take it off and back on, it will give you different weights for the same item. When you remove the item, it will not return to zero. I've tried several times to re-create the situation. It's tarring, and it's not helping. br>br>Either I got a lemon or these scales aren't designed to handle light weights ( In any case, it was returned to me.
I'm not sure how anyone could find this product acceptable, based on the sample I have. br>br>WEIGHT IS DISPLAYED ON THE SCALE IN FIVE GRAMS INCREMENTS. To put it another way, nothing can weigh 38 grams on this scale. It only weighs 35 to 40 grams. br>br>I began by gradually increasing the weights. The display remained at zero until it abruptly increased to 10 grams. The display remained static after that as I continued to add small weights until it reached 15, then 20, and so on. br>br>Weirdly, it did respond to small additional weights when I changed the display to ounces; However, the unit must have some clever software that prevents it from accurately translating the weight into grams. Furthermore, despite following the instructions to the letter, the 'hold' function did not function. I held down the 'Hold' button until the display displayed this word, then placed a weight on the scale, waited 20 seconds (just to be safe), removed the weight, and watched as the display instantly returned to zero. br>br>Why do they have to waste my time? Why not just put "doesn't work" in the Amazon description?.
This postage scale has been fantastic. I used to try to use a kitchen scale or a bath scale but couldn't read the displays because I couldn't see them. Out of the box, this scale is nearly self-explanatory. It has a power cord, but it runs on batteries, so I can move it around my home office as needed. The HOLD function is fantastic. If you can't see the display because of the item's size, it will be locked so you can see it when you remove it! This is a simple but effective feature. On the scale, I weighed my items in a variety of positions. There was no difference in the readings. It was less than 0 when there was. 1 ounce is a unit of measurement used to describe the weight of a unit of It's simple to read the display. Because the function buttons each have a limited number of functions, you won't be changing features by pressing a single button with a plethora of sub-functions.
When I bought it and shipped it today, the reviews gave it a 7 out of 5 star rating. It arrived in a matter of hours, which was extremely convenient for me because I require it for my business. I took it out of the box, read the instructions, and tried out the scale with different weights. Any time I put more than 3 pounds on the scale, it threw an error. I'm dissatisfied and disappointed. I was really hoping this product would work for me because the price was so low and the reviews said it was reliable. Regrettably, mine appears to be faulty.
My scale was filthy and had obviously been used. I haven't had a chance to turn it on because it didn't come with the batteries or the power cord that it was supposed to come with, but I'm pretty sure it doesn't work either. To put it mildly, I was disappointed, and the scale's lid was also messed up. I'm hoping for a refund.
