Selected User Reviews For Fellowes Powershred Performance Shredder Oil, 16 oz. Extended Nozzle Bottle (3525010)
I bought this oil when I bought my shredder, and I used it to lubricate the machine on a regular basis at first, and it worked perfectly. As time went on, I began to forget to use it according to the directions, and we went a long time without using it at all. I noticed my shredder was jamming up on amounts of paper it used to fly through a few days ago and assumed it was on its way out. That's when I remembered I had this oil and hadn't used it in a while, so I gave it a good shot of it and it was good as new again. So I suppose this is good confirmation for me that this stuff works. It has no odor and does not appear to make a mess in the shredder, which is a plus. Bag liners are used in the bin to prevent any oil from passing through or dripping onto the bin surfaces. I also wouldn't add the oil to the bin when it's empty, especially if you don't use the bag liners, because I'd think some paper in the bin would catch any oil that drips through. In addition, the bottle appears to last quite a while. So, if you found this review helpful, please let me know by clicking the helpful button below. It's 99% canola oil in a bottle with a tip and a brand name on the side of the side of the side of the side of the side of the side of A pint of this oil costs three times as much as a similar oil purchased elsewhere.

You may need to lubricate your blades more frequently if you're using sensitive papers, receipts, or other types of carbonless documents, as these papers deposit chemicals onto the blades, increasing friction. br>br>After comparing the performance and efficiency of three different brands of relatively expensive shredder sheets, I purchased this oil. For the following reasons, I will no longer use expensive oiled shredder sheets: Advantages: br>br> 1. br>br> A 16-ounce bottle with a fixed extended nozzle for quickly and effectively lubricating shredder blades.
2. Canola oil lubricant with conditioners and stabilizers to prevent gummy buildup on shredder blades as well as odor.
