This scale measures pounds, ounces, and fractions of ounces (shown in tenths/tenths places rather than fractions). I'm not sure what it was, but another thing I weighed came in at. 6 ounces. Yes, this scale can weigh items weighing less than a pound; however, the maximum weight capacity is 85 pounds.
Sure, why not? It's something I use all the time, and it can hold up to 85 pounds. I consider the amount of weight for tape used and any additional paperwork after weighing the item in its packaging. such as a packing slip, and so on. Then, using USPS information, I compare it to the quickest and cheapest shipping method. For the price and what it can do, this is an excellent scale. Best of luck to you. Mine is one of them. I do a lot of international shipping and have never had an issue. I weighed and compared the results on my old scale. I bought this one because it holds more weight than my other one. I hope this information is useful to you.
No, it doesn't work that way. The only things you'll need are an AC adapter and a 9-volt battery battery with volts It has proven to be effective for both light and heavy items.

This is the first time I've ever used this scale. My package weighed 5 ounces, according to the scale. I calculated the postage using an online postal chart, and it came to $4. If you only plan on using it a few times. I'm not sure why it requires a battery. When there is a battery in it, it does not work. So I plugged it in, and it worked perfectly. I've used it a couple of times and have been pleased with the results. until the next working day It doesn't turn on very often, but when it does, it simply displays ERR and then shuts down. br>Please save your money and purchase one from a reputable brand; these scales are a joke, to put it mildly.
Because I'm a small person, items weighing more than 30 pounds are a problem for me. I can easily read the results by placing the scale on my kitchen table and weighing light items. To avoid injuring my back, I weigh heavy items on a scale that sits on the floor, press the hold button, lift the item off the scale, and read the result; it's just a minor inconvenience that I can live with. The item appeals to me and I would recommend it to others. This one is a little more expensive than the one sold at my local USPS, which can hold up to 35 pounds.
This scale appeals to me greatly. I got it because I sell on a variety of websites and it's convenient to know the exact weight without having to go to the post office; however, it's a pain for larger packages (even if they're under the maximum weight). Due to damaged wiring (thanks to my cat), I purchased this to replace my "My Weigh UltraShip 55. " While this Accutek scale is fine, it is a little clumsy to use for my purposes. I was just going to replace it with the same brand, possibly the same model, but I went with this one from Accutek because the price was good and the reviews were positive. While this Accutek scale is fine, it is a bit clumsy to use for my purposes. I mostly send out small packages weighing no more than 5 pounds. I don't keep the scale out and plugged in because of space constraints; instead, I take it out and put it away every other day or so. The surface plate on which you place the item to be weighed comes easily detached from the scale itself, which irritates me about this model. It keeps popping out every time I pick it up to put it away, so I have to make sure it's firmly pressed down so it sits evenly. If you don't make sure it's attached perfectly flat, it'll read incorrectly, resulting in a weight difference of an ounce or two. I often have to weigh a package three times to make sure I get the same number each time. This leads to apprehension about the scale's accuracy, as well as a general lack of enthusiasm for it. If I needed a scale more urgently, I'd probably resell this one and return to my tried-and-true My Weigh UltraShip.
