In addition, the cost is reasonable. I only require a small number of French Curve Rulers for my art. Well made, just the right size for use with water color or pastels in situations where a natural curve is desired, such as hanging telephone lines from telephone poles, where getting the changing radius curve by eye and hand can be difficult.
These arrived safely packaged in layers of protection. Different shapes than you can draw yourself are sometimes desired in art painting. I did one or two with a full stencil on a new project. Using only sections of the stencil, I filled in the rest of the space. I got a 2095% added bonus on the project I used them for! Because of a traumatic brain injury that causes my hands to shake, you may notice some wiggly spots. I would strongly suggest it.
This is a great set of all the French curves you'll ever need as a hobbyist or student, all in one easy-to-use package. The plastic isn't particularly thick, but it's adequate, and I've had no problems with it thus far. The edges are smooth; there's nothing special about them, but they do the job.
They're a little flimsier than the ones I've seen in stores, but that has no bearing on their performance, and they're a fraction of the price of the more professional ones, so 5 stars.

When designing router templates or creating one-off designs, this tool is extremely helpful in achieving the perfect arc or curve. This is a useful craft tool for creating smooth curves. These were purchased for the young lady's craft projects. She makes extensive use of them in her letter stencils to connect the letters and make them appear more fluid and "hand drawn. " I'm not sure how else to put it.
Pattern drafting has become 100 times easier as a result of these tools. All of the curves ensure that there is a perfect one for any project you can think of, and they feel good and sturdy, unlike others I've used.
