This may suffice if you only need to draw a few circles or ovals of various sizes; however, if you require a precise template or something for professional use, I recommend purchasing something else. Some of the circles aren't quite the right size (while others are); others aren't quite as big as they should be. It's enough to be annoying if you're trying to be precise, and because these are hard plastic, it'd be easy to break one of the templates if it was accidentally bent. It was a waste of a few dollars for me.
The template for the two "ovals" is a little off, description-wise. The shapes are ellipses, which are a type of oval that is very specific. However, my intention was to draw shapes on materials to cut and fit into "standard" "oval" jewelry findings, and these "ovals" are NOT ellipses, being slightly rounder/less narrow than an ellipse of the same long dimension. To help visualize the two shapes, consider the difference between an uppercase letter "O" (which is an oval in most fonts) and a numeral "0" (which is more of an ellipse). br>br>If you need actual oval shapes to match up with jewelry findings or something similar, I recommend choosing a different product.
These were purchased for my son, who previously used a different brand of circle template for his drawings. The old one was paper-thin and brittle as it got older, like cardstock. THESE ARE STRONG, THICK, AND SOLID! The rulers are a nice extra! I've got a very happy aspiring cartoonist on my hands!.
I deducted a star because the oval template was cracked in two places when it arrived. However, a little super glue fixed that, and both templates work great for the smaller circles and ovals I draw where precision is required (for some reason, my normally steady hands become shaky messes when I concentrate on making nice, clean lines):.
These are for use with my bullet journal, which I purchased. The fact that there were so many different sizes of circles, especially ovals, was appealing to me. The ovals can be used to draw around a single world, initials, or other similar objects. I haven't used these to draw lines, but the edges could be useful.
However, I breezed through fifth grade, demonstrating that I am well-versed in the English language and capable of reading. Before purchasing a product, a well-educated person like myself was wise enough to read the description. This means that, unlike some other shoppers who shall remain anonymous, I was aware of the product's size before ordering it.
These were purchased to make sketching the faces of my charity dolls on fabric easier. Fabric markers can be used as a stencil. I like how there are so many different sizes.
