I put them through their paces and discovered that a few of them smeared. To be safe, I would suggest trying a different brand.
With these, you'll be able to pull it off.
You can certainly use these to sign your artwork, but I don't believe they are limited to that use; I use them to sign my work as well as a medium. They are, however, extremely adaptable. My well quickly ran dry. Next time, I'll use a different brand.

The fake Micron pen sticker on the outside of the packaging was something I didn't like (despite the fact that it wasn't advertised as such). I've used Micron pens before and they're different; these pens aren't as smooth, but they're still good pens; it's a great assortment, and I'm hoping none of them dry out too quickly, but I think the 0. The number 05 will be the first to leave. I would have given 5 stars for just reviewing the pens if there wasn't a fake Micron sticker on the front (which you can clearly tell is a photo copy on a sticker).
I'm a painter, and one of my favorite mediums is ink. I really wanted to like these, but after one use, I discovered that the tips had split and they were no longer usable. I liked the variety of tip sizes and found them to be very comfortable to draw with, but due to fraying, I was unable to use them and had to discard them. It was a huge let down.
I've been using these pens since I got them (at least 2 months ago) and they've stayed in good shape and haven't run out of ink despite the fact that I use them nearly every day (I really enjoy drawing). I am particularly fond of the most expensive pens. 05 and . 1 and the brush pens, because they have not split or worn down and have remained in the same condition as when they were first opened. Overall, this was a fantastic set of pens that I would recommend to anyone who likes to draw or write.
I thought it wouldn't smear if I let it dry and didn't touch it for a day, but I was mistaken! If you're writing on regular paper, they're probably fine, but I was trying to write small on my round DoTerra oil labels, and it wouldn't stay on the labels for the life of me. It had a slick coat on the sticker, like most labels, so if you're using it on anything that isn't straight paper or has a shiny surface, don't use it because it will never dry. I like how there are so many different sizes. The larger the marker is, the more it resembles the tip of a paintbrush.
I was enthralled by them! It's a great price-to-quality ratio. If you're new to using these types of lápices for drawing, here's what you should know: They're perfect! br>They can be used to paint with acuarelas on them without the risk of the paint running. They are sturdy and made of good material. The tint is extremely dark, and there are no issues with salpicons or a lack of tint continuity when drawing or writing. br>They arrived in perfect conditions and on time. I strongly advise you to try these:.
I like these pens a lot, but not as much as the Micron brand; I'm comparing them to the Micron black pens, which have a few flaws. They are extremely smudge-prone. Before touching anything you've drawn, make sure it's completely dry. Otherwise, your masterpiece will be ruined. Similarly, if you're going to add watercolor above, you might want to set it aside for a day before adding it, and when erasing pencil marks, be careful because it can smudge all over the place. I like how dark they are and how smoothly they flow on the page, but that's about it. They're good pens, but you should use caution when using them.
I looked for waterproof markers so that when I added a layer of watercolor, the marks wouldn't bleed and ruin my work. Although these markers claim to be waterproof, a quick swipe with a wet brush revealed otherwise, so I'm glad I tested them first. I was let down.
This is an excellent set for both beginning and advanced illustrators. I really like how there are so many different sized tips for different parts of the drawing. Brush markers aren't my favorite because their tips are frayed. I'd recommend sticking with your tomboy or art n fly brush markers for filling in large areas of ink or for a more vintage look.
