Questions & Answers
It's a small wedge of foam with an angled tip that's about the size of a permanent marker. I'd have to white out my measuring instrument if I tried to gauge its thickness!
It depends on how hard you squeeze the paper and how much pressure you apply to it while administering the fluid. It's also important to keep the tip clean (keep a tissue on hand). A dot less than 1/16" (roughly 1.25mm) can be applied with just a light tap (if you've squeezed lightly first). A dot smaller than 5mm would be difficult to obtain. You might be able to reduce the number to just one. 0mm. Making a complete LINE out of that dot, on the other hand, would almost certainly be impossible. I also use the pens in sketches for correcting and highlighting, but you must be very careful and keep in mind drying times. Also, if you make a mistake and have to redo the correction, it will appear slightly different. In addition, when dry, the fluid has a lustrous appearance. By lightly rubbing it with a tissue, this can be reduced to some extent. I'd recommend buying a tube and giving it a try; if you don't like it for sketching, you might be able to use it for something else, and you won't have spent an arm and a leg.

For MANY YEARS, this product has been packaged in this style bottle. When I used typewriters, I used it all the time! I was nearing the end of my last bottle and didn't think I'd be able to find any more of the same product. I was pleasantly surprised to learn that it is still available, and that it is the same as it has always been, now that I have my two dispensers; there is no waste, and I should now have enough to last me the rest of my life, since I am already 71 years old, and my previous bottle had lasted me over 20 years!.
The item I was sent was incorrect. Be careful who you buy from. Presto! in place of "ozone friendly" I was sent a Pentel Micro Correct Multipurpose Correction Pen, which comes with a noxious fumes warning on the back. That was not at all what I had hoped for.
To make changes or corrections to printed music, I use this Presto correction pen. It dispenses just the right amount of erasing fluid, and the small applicator precisely positions the white-out. When it's dry, you can rewrite it. This is an excellent item.
I've finally found a good correction pen that doesn't dry out and covers a lot of ground. I'm going to wait a little longer to see if I need to change my opinion.
When a simple product works so well, it makes me very happy. Correction pens are prone to becoming gummy, crusty, clogging, and drying out. After my first one lasted for years, I decided to get a new one. The flow is always even and smooth, and the covers are always smooth.
These erasable pens are indestructible. I recently discarded one that was at least five years old. These pens are the only ones with small enough tips for making music notation corrections. They're just as effective on paper as they are on screen. They don't turn into "goo" or clump together. Simply keep the tips clean and practice squeezing to get the desired amount of liquid out. We've been using these for a long time. They are fantastic.
Reasonable cost.
It's simple to use, doesn't make a mess, and you can write corrections on it. I'd buy it again.
