What's the best way to unstop the pen?

Wipe the tip clean, hold the pen upright, and press it against scratch paper — it should give slightly when pressed. Try pressing the button a few times to see if the water starts to flow again. I've found that this method works for me most of the time.

This is something I've done in the past. They're adequate for the task at hand. To avoid cakeing on the paper, use only as much White-Out as you need. When not in use, make sure the tip is clean and the cap is on. Before you use it, give it a good shake.
