Pencils made by BIC have a lot of lead in them. My BIC Velocity is out of refills, for example. Furthermore, I have the all-plastic erasers they offer in multi-packs for really cheap, and the erasers are wider and have a flatter shape. This is what I was trying to use them for - a different type of mechanical pencil than they are meant for. We didn't end up getting what we wanted. Pentel erasers are the ones I purchased on the chance that they would fit the BIC mechanical pencils I frequently use. My original plans were to use large standard-sized toilet paper tubes, but they turned out to be bigger than I needed, so I had to shave a bit off each to get them to fit. Additionally, they appear to be much rougher on the paper than the BIC erasers originally supplied with the pencils I purchased.

There are so many times that I make mistakes, so these were very useful. I have a Pentel Forte A55 0 and this is ideal. Pencil with a diameter of 5mm.
