If the metal tip is not in use, does it retract? In order to prevent the pencil from getting bent while traveling, I am hoping for a pencil with a flexible tip. ?

If you wish to retract the metal tip, you may.

How do you describe the type of lead that comes Is it a HB or a ?

It is nice to hear from you. A HB version of this product is included. Thank you. Please take this into consideration.

Several small dings are noted in the barrel, and the paint is uneven above the clip on my new Orenz Nero. What is the most common cause of this? I got a bad one, or did I?

The whole lot would go back and I would then buy another one. It is unacceptable to provide anything other than pristine condition, no matter how costly.

The pencil is of very high quality Using this tool will never require clicking The pencil is of really good quality, as has been noted by others
5/5

Weighted well, it feels good in your hand. Moreover, it advances the lead just slightly past the metal tip, so the lead also does not I find it pretty cool to never need to think about advancing the lead and be able to just grab a pencil and start writing for the first time with confidence. This is an expensive invention, but I think it's worth it for the novelty of experiencing this invention, but I would not necessarily recommend purchasing it thinking that it is the ultimate pencil. It's a bit rigid on the body, and its cap is tough to grasp. There is no comfortable feel to the pencil, so using it is not the best experience. Lastly, the lead tends to be a bit lighter than usual, which sometimes makes it difficult to see, so I may switch it for a darker.

It has a nice look and feel, but I don't like it

My order for the Orenznero and the Kurutoga Advance for zero was placed on the same day. Comparing the two at the same time requires taking 3 mm measurements at the same time. In spite of the fact that the Orenznero looks and feels more premium, I'm not convinced that it is actually more functional. As far as preventing lead breakage is concerned, both pencils are fairly similar. There is a sliding pipe on the Orenznero, so that the lead can be used flush against it. By doing this, the force is transferred to the pipe and pencil body, which prevents A good example of this is this. It is important to understand that the Kurutoga Advance also has a sliding pipe. Although it does not function with the lead flush to the pipe like the Orenznero, you can still get it to peak just beyond and past it. To accomplish it, either advance the lead past the end of the pipe, or you can flush the lead against the pipe, which will cause the pipe to slide back slightly once the pencil is up to the lead. To break the lead, I had to deliberately press much harder than I would when writing since the lead was exposed to a very small amount. I discovered that the position of the lead was also problematic for the intended operation of the Orenznero. From the lead, I tend to get a lot of light marks, but from the pipe, I tend to get smaller marks. Despite finding it more comfortable than a traditional pencil, I was not a fan of the writing experience. My penmanship felt less accurate, since I didn't feel the same tactile feedback from the paper, but I don't think this had an actual effect on the quality of it. As a matter of fact, I tend to write with a fairly shallow angle, so that may have contributed to the problem. Apart from that, each pencil has a significant feature that the other does not have. There is an automatic advance mechanism in the Orenznero, so you only have to make a click in order to move the plunger. In my experience, I did not write enough to be able to take advantage of this, but I was able to write for a long time between clicks with Kurutoga's simple sliding pipe. Due to the way the Kurutoga works for this, the pencil will hold it's position a bit longer once you have it in your hand. Despite this, it did not occur to me to notice the change while writing, since it is gradual in nature. The Kurutoga is known for the famous Kurutoga Engine, which allows the lead to rotate so that a chisel tip is not formed. There are no guarantees that this will work all of the time, but I have noticed that it does work most of the time. Featuring a textured grip made with an iron/resin composite packed with enough iron to make it magnetic, it has a textured metallic surface. In comparison, the Kurutoga's outer shell is smooth and plastic, with a few indents. Although I did not have any grip issues with the Kurutoga, I found that the Orenznero was more comfortable than the Kurutoga. initially. I found that the slightly thinner grip of the Orenznero grew less comfortable over time, and even the Kurutoga was too thin for extended sessions, so I slipped the rubber pencil grip I've owned for over a decade over the stock grip. Even though I think this configuration is not the most attractive, it provides more grip and feels more comfortable than either of the stock pencils. Currently, the Orenznero costs $24. The most bang for your buck for this model is that it costs less than $100. For the pencil alone, it would cost $50. With the purchase of 3 NanoDia lead refills, you can get a Kurutoga Advance along with a bundle This page contains 98 words. Kurutoga Advance 0 listings are not available at this time. Those figures are based on a 3mm item, but I would expect them to range from $6-$8 The Orenznero does not offer much for its extra cost to me.

I am absolutely in love with this mechanical pencil! Here is Orenz 0
5/5

I ordered it from your website. To complement my other 0mm, I have added 3mm. A mm and a 0 measure the same thing. There is a 3mm version (the cheap ones) that I had. By far, it is one of the highest quality mechanical pencils I have ever owned. My lead has never broken thanks to the lead sleeve, and it has an amazingly smooth finish. I love writing with this pencil it has a sleek, smooth finish that makes it a joy to use. While the dodecahedral design of the grip is odd, it provides surprisingly strong grip and good comfort. That makes it definitely worth the investment.

This is automatic! Three millimeters should not be a This is amazing! What a great pencil, I've never used anything like it! If they were to make a softer lead, 2b for 0 would have been a good call
5/5

A 3mm tube. actually like it a lot, because it's different in that you don't have to write too horizontal or too This is truly a wonderful experience and you won't be disappointed. The weight of the item is substantial, but not overbearing. Tip is slightly heavier than the body. In my career, I have never received a zero. This is the first time I've used 3mm and I'm in love. I have searched for this pencil for a long time. It's great to have you back, I hope it lasts a while! I will update my review as soon as it does not.

Pentel has the latest and greatest technology
4/5

Pentel makes a great mechanical pencil, and this one is a great addition to their line. First and foremost, I must say that the grip is one of the most comfortable I have ever used. It is a good weight and has a great look. One of my only complaints about the clip is that it is small and fragile. I much prefer the original Pentel P-35 clip. In addition, I believe 200 clips perform the best.

My other issue is, to take advantage of its great mechanics you must hold it perpendicular. The pencil will be a great EDC after some time of adjustment.

The lead snaps over and over when you use it to draw unless you draw exactly upright every time and are totally dedicated to writing
4/5

Would be perfect for taking notes and writing small notes, but incredibly bad for drawing. After using half a tube of leads i decided it's time to send it back, the pipe around the lead seems to cut into it on any angle other than 90 degrees from the table , quickly breaking the lead after it's been weakened. The other aspects of the product are excellent. It fits well in the hand, is well-made, is heavy, and the materials are high-quality. Generally, you should skip it if you're drawing anything other than schematics.

If you do not believe it, try it for yourself Quality is top notch! It lets me enter 0 in my writing
5/5

A 3 HB lead sheet without Drawing and writing go hand-in-hand, and I have found this to be the ideal tool Because of the automatic lead feeding, it seems simple to use, without the constant need to advance the page. Despite being mostly oriented toward the writing end (not centered), the grip is comfortable and the weight is moderate. The best of the best!.

Then it wasn't so great I loved this pencil when it first came out
4/5

This is a great tool for writing and drawing. It is unfortunate that the lead carrier will not stay out and the pencil will not apply lead to the I have used Pentel mech pencils for 40 years and am very disappointed with the replacement. There is no return window left, so I must deal with the seller directly. br>I am disappointed!.
