I taped them to Solo cups and they stayed put, but when we tried to write on them with chalk pens and permanent markers, the ink wouldn't stick. Ink and chalk slipped down the sides of the cup as it sweated.
They do, in fact, br>I use these on my containers and wash them afterwards in the dishwasher.
They probably would, in my opinion. They're quite sticky, though I doubt they'd be reusable after being on wood, so if you don't plan on using them repeatedly, you'll be fine.

I absolutely love these, and I'm going to order more in larger sizes for my garage totes.
That's exactly what I needed! I was in desperate need of some big-ticket items. I needed something to label my flour and sugar containers, and these were perfect. I used a chalk marker that came with another Amazon purchase to write on them, and it was easy to clean with a damp paper towel. I did remove one and re-apply it. It seems to adhere really well to my plastic containers, but I'm not sure how well it would adhere to something that isn't as smooth. My purchase went well.
I really wanted to like these, but they won't stay put. I bought these to use on cups for a bridal shower so that guests could write their names on them in a cute way. It does not, however, allow the chalk marker to dry, and the mark will easily smear off with the slightest touch hours later. We didn't have any problems with the markers because we used them on other chalkboard products and didn't have any problems with them smearing.
For neat freaks like me, these labels are a godsend. I put them on everything in the fridge and pantry. Because my printing isn't great, I write the names of things on blank address labels and then stick them on the black labels. If it's going in the freezer or refrigerator, I also cover the entire label with wide tape. These are of excellent quality and can be reused after being removed from plastic. I'll be placing another order soon!.
These had a lot of potential to be fantastic. They are, however, only for "one-time use"! The chalk on the label wouldn't come off. I gave it my all. When I replace a bin, it appears that I'll have to peel and apply a new label: (It's a good thing I ordered a couple of extras. ) Aside from that, I really like the large size, and I really wanted to give it five stars, but I just can't.
I ordered these because I needed two 3/4-inch circles, which I planned to cut from the labels. Isn't 3x4 supposed to be enough? WRONG, the labels are 3 3/4 inches long and only 2 1/2 inches wide at their widest point, which also happens to be the point of the sticker on the long side; if you're looking for a 3" x 4" label, this isn't it. I've just squandered $10 and a lot of time because I now need to order larger labels. br>br>Quality appears to be satisfactory; they are suitable for both writing and erasing. The size was simply misrepresented.
These chalkboard labels were just what I needed to help me organize (or at least appear to organize) my closet. My only gripe is that when I applied the label to such a smooth plastic surface, small bubbles formed beneath the label. I was able to remove the air bubbles with a little extra effort, but it took a long time.
I like how they come in a variety of sizes and shapes. It's the ideal finishing touch for my pantry containers! Compatible with chalkboard markers and cleans up easily if necessary.
