I searched for something like what I was making myself, and these are what I found! It seems there is a lot to study, but I can tell that this will be invaluable for the remainder of nursing school and for the One thing I don't like about the cards is that some of them were made from a different type of material and some of them were scratched, which I understand will happen over time, but after opening it, I am skeptical about the product's strength and durability over the long run. Generally speaking, I found this service to be very helpful, and it's a great price too!.
The following is for those who also speak English as their second language. As a native of Puerto Rico and a native speaker of Spanish, most people in the United States do not know my first language. In the event that you complete a BSN in a language other than English, it can be more difficult for you to prepare for As a result of this reference card, I didn't need the internet for reference every day, which allowed me to study better. is the best purchase I ever made from Amazon and I would recommend it to any family member or friend. Thank you for creating this magnificent resource and taking the time to do so.
It would be great to have these as a study aid! I expected some of them to be a little larger, but that's not an issue. As I browsed through all of them, I found that about half of them were stuck together, so I am giving it a 4 instead of a 5. As a result of breaking them apart, some paint adhered to the cards it was stuck to, which made reading a few challenging. You can see the pictures attached. Although I'm happy with this purchase, I decided to give it a try.
You'll find ESSENTIAL info on every card! There are 85 cards in the deck. But I've got 170 sides! The quality of these is very high! A badge similar to an employee ID is not as thick as an employee ID card. In any case, this is a good thing, because the additional weight would result in them being too heavy for scrub pockets, even if you just pulled out what you needed. Because I'm a sophomore nursing student, I'll only take those I feel I might need, like Assessments, Diabetic, Electrolyte imbalances, etc. , since it will add to the weight. It'll be okay because the thickness Additionally, they offer a lifetime warranty, meaning that if the print eventually wears off, you can request a replacement by email. A card of mine was scrawled, and the last quarter of it was In less than an hour from the time I emailed them (at about 8 am), they replied to my email. Their apology for the defective card has been answered, and they will be sending a replacement. Compared with another competitor, it appears that the cards are laminated, as if you took something to Office Max and it was laminated. There will eventually be a break in the border since these are made of rubbery It is my dream come true to work with them. As this will be our first patient week after break, I am excited to find out how many of my classmates have made themselves an ice bucket set!.
The cards have good information, which I will pass on to the creator. Their size seems to be ideal for a scrub pocket and they appear to be durable. In relation to the presentation or packaging, I was not a fan. There are a few cards that have faded fonts that make it difficult to read the words and images. There are only a few basic ACLS topics in the ACLS information, such as VF, PEP, There is one algorithm that is used for pulseless VTA and pulsed VFA, and there is also one algorithm that is used for PEA and asystole. Neither an algorithm nor a protocol are provided for cardiac arrest, emergency cardioversion, or administration of ACLS medications such as atropine, amiodarone, or epinephrine. The lab values and vitals are nicely laid out. In addition to keeping the cards in the included box or on the key chain, I liked that you could also keep them on the key ring. This product has a lot of good information and references, but I thought there would be more on the heart (ACLS specifically) and the.
The information is printed directly on the durable plastic cards and is color coded for ease of reading. something you will find in your pocket There are a few cards here and there, but they're not large. They're well-made and have a nice feel to them. This website is organized and color-coded Coded by topic to make finding information quick and easy Please refer to. Every card has the hole punched in the corner for the ring, and the set comes with a ring large enough to fit If it was all in your pocket, it would seem rather bulky. (Each card is approximately 3 inches by 3. 5 inches. The size of the sheet is 5 x 5 inches. Each of the boxes is stacked together. The thickness of the wall is 75 inches. The set comes with a plastic container with a flip-open lid for convenient storage. A card organizer is great for organizing the cards you don't use. In order to fit the cards into the box, you have to remove the card ring, but it's a quick process. Ring has an open hinge, so it is easy to handle. This might seem like a trivial detail, but these features give this set an edge over it's competitors The laminated cards are bigger (Most laminated cards have 1/4 inch of wasted space along each edge), edges sometimes are a little sharp, card pieces are not cut exactly the same size so the punch holes are not lining Additionally, there was no ring and no case provided with the deck - just a stack of My 4 stars were based on the fact that the plastic storage box came with a crack all the way through one side. This was not the seller's fault, but the item still must be thrown away because it is defective. the packaging needs to be more robust? 2) I contacted the seller to see if I could get another item. I will update my rating to 5 stars if it is. Several of these were purchased for my son who is a student nurse. It's been 35 years since I was a nurse, and I wish I had ordered a set for myself.
As compared with the note cards I made, these cards are a whole lot easier to use. I can easily read them and keep them with me when I need them in.
The 85- I got was great There are a lot of cards in the set and they exceed There is plenty of color, and they are well-made It is formatted in a way that I can easily fit a lot of critical information that I have been worried about forgetting since my It is my plan to review them regularly to reinforce the information, and to keep them on hand for quick reference during my first days on the job.
