Questions & Answers

Which date cards are the same size?

There are a lot of crooked card slots so I am not sure why they look that way.

The Spanish version of this calendar is also available? appears in my search for "Spanish classroom calendar" but I don't see any reference to Spanish in the product description?

The website does not have any Spanish content. English is all that is used. almost every single day, and it's a great product. The pictures on the card are a bit dated, but the actual product is amazing. Despite appearing to be real, they appear to be classes from a school. Taping a second picture over it or using the back works for me. The picture of autumn on one side of the label is matched up with the word "fall" on the other one.

What can be done if the weather label needs to be removed? If you could replace it with a Spanish word, would you mind?

It's impossible to remove anything in red with a white trim.

BUT, they're not as sturdy as they should be
4/5

Here are some notes from a former 1st grade teacher. My kids love it so I bought it to put in their room. I really love how this calendar turned out! I really like the way the numbers are punched out and they are This is far more solid than the one I had in my old classroom where I had to laminate all the pieces for extra strength. While I'm certain this one will last a long time, it bothers me because it says Today, Yesterday, Tomorrow. Due to the fact that kids learn by sequencing, Saturday, Friday, and Sunday is very confusing for them. So kids can learn the correct order of the days of the week, it should have been "Yesterday, Today, Tomorrow. " Instead, it should have been "Friday, Saturday, Sunday. " During the taping of "Yesterday" and "Today" I will have to switch back and forth. It's one of the reasons why I took a star off.

Although there are flaws, I am still in love with it
4/5

This calendar is awesome! I made it myself and it's very large and well made (you can see my kid for scale). To hang it up, I used command Velcro strips. A larger side pocket would make it easier for me to store all the extra cards that I don't need to use daily/weekly- Those will go into the ziplock bag I'll be using. There are three yellow pockets on the bottom of the pouch that should be deeper as well because they have Velcro closures, but if a card is in there, it won't However, I would still buy it again even if it had a few flaws. Two of my kids are now old enough to walk. The following are the five and six This is an excellent learning tool for children who are 4 or older.

In scrambled form

You did well Since the calendar is large and the pockets are also large, little hands can manipulate the cards easily. From a distance, it is easy to see the color and the words are large and bright. Materials used in its construction are of good quality, and it is extremely durable. At the top are loops that allow the art to be hung in a variety of The bad news As they are smaller than the number card, the event cards cannot fit behind the number. They also do not function in front of the number since they are too large and obscure the part that should be seen. The ugly part This is filled with jumbled information at the wrong location. It would have been better for me to look closer when I purchased, but school had just begun and I was in a rush. This is 1. Despite the Month and Year being at the top, there is only mention of the number It reinforced the concept of a written date when I used my last calendar, where the month, day, and year were in that order. The second paragraph. It is confusing for children because the slots for the days do not line up in order. The events for today, yesterday, and tomorrow are listed in the following Are you the one who does it? I think it would be better if the date was yesterday, today, or tomorrow. Obviously, jumping around like that is not a very good idea for little kids. Because it has been so long since I visited, I will not return The first one I had I wanted to try out, but I'm probably going to.

I DO NOT USE MORE THAN FIVE ROWS FOR A 31 DAY CALENDAR MONTH There are six rows to be filled
4/5

There is no extra bottom row to fit the last two days in this month, AUGUST 30 and 31 2020. I love the product but am disappointed that there is no extra bottom row. What am I missing? Other school calendars I've viewed also seem the same way, what am I doing wrong? The book will probably be returned to me. A RECENT UPDATE In my mind, I will keep the calendar, but place the remaining two days (30th and 31st) in the empty slots on top row and flip them over to the red side. I'm not sure if that is the right choice or not, but I think it will work. The product is great aside from this inconvenience, and overall I recommend it. If it weren't for this inconvenience, I would have given it five stars instead of increasing to four.

The quality of the product is excellent
4/5

My son loved having this calendar in his playroom and it helped us get organized with the morning routine. It has a lot of holidays and miscellaneous cards- it's a great addition! We didn't go to school because we had parties, dental appointments, field trips, etc. There are too few pockets at the bottom of the bag for holding much stuff and you can't velcro it shut when you have anything inside. To keep them separate, I put them in separate bags and keep them nearby in a drawer. Seasons, weather, and days of the week are kept in the pockets at the bottom of the page The most used (aside from seasons) are the holidays. * You also have to take care when popping out the cards because some might not be fully cut and could tear. One was imprinted, so I threw it away. There are a number of years between 2017 and 2024 In any case, it will be useful for many years to come and we can always print the extended years on the back. Overall, I am very satisfied with it.

This would be ideal for preschool students
5/5

The calendar is so amazing. I absolutely adore it. provided me with a 3-dimensional view of the world A lot of great conversations are happening among preschoolers who are 5 years old. It is uncommon to see a calendar that contains more than just dates, but this one includes seasons and weather, as well as yesterday, today, and tomorrow, which helps challenge My students become so excited about the calendar and enjoy making weather observations that they take on the challenges. Don't wait until the last minute to start learning! A second amazing fact is that there are two colors to the numbers, so every time a number falls on the weekend, I flip it to the opposite of the color it falls on during the week. There is only one difference I would make I wish there were more space between the dates to allow me to slide on the visual cutouts like birthday party favors without blocking the weeks or numbers.

The situation appears to be fine
4/5

Chipboard-like pieces are used to construct the boxes. It took me a while to decide which calendar I wanted to buy. For use as a classroom visual aid and learning tool in my home, I wanted to make it something children could be involved in. The numbers and other parts of other calendars seemed to be of low quality. The one here appears to be made almost entirely of chipboard. Then, you punch each piece out once it's in your hand. Many of the pieces (holidays, birthdays, field trips, etc. ) are "special" that kids look forward to, and there are many blank pieces as well. There is a lot of space on the side and the shape seems to aid handling for small hands. As well as adding a nice splash of color to an otherwise ordinary space, it makes it feel more like a classroom without having to make significant changes.
