Everything looks good, and it's a good size. Since the cards aren't very thick, I will have to keep them away from the smaller kids. In places where only four rows are usually found, there are two days cards for those months, 23/30 and 24/31, which take up five rows instead of just four. The only thing I don't like about 2020 is that there was no This is a purchase I made for teaching purposes this year, Aug 2020, and now I have to decide what I want to do with it. Despite everyone wanting to forget about 2020, we need to plan ahead.
I purchased this product for a small homeschool area where my children study, and we are very happy about This is just the right size for us to keep on our shelf, yet large enough to be easily seen and used by children. As is the case with all chart components, the dates are held securely in place by little plastic parts. On cheerful, colorful card stock, all months, days of the week, numbers, and special days cards are printed. The item is used every school day as a learning tool for pre-K and kindergarten students to identify the date and use a calendar. The product we were seeking is exactly what we have found.
Originally, I got this to replace a crappy cardstock calendar that I got from Staples this past In fact, I ordered two (one for me, and one for my best friend) because I was so thrilled about it. I appreciate the high quality of this material. Among the nicest cards I have seen is the quality of the cards here. It is things I didn't realize until I presented it for the first time that I don't like. You might want to start by asking the child to add a card for every day of the month. Then, the child will be aware that there are 7 days every week and 4 on both sides of the month. A new square is created every 5 weeks every month since there are no lines between There are several photos of the calendar posted on the Internet, but they all show the date cards in place so the calendar looks like a chart, but at the beginning and middle of the month, it just resembles a series of numbers It also irritates me that the days of the week are displayed first with a large abbreviation and then the day is written smaller below. Last but not least, it is not very versatile in terms of colors. Only one set of "special day" or holiday cards is included, and there is only one color and one set of numbers. This program does include year cards, which I really like. The cloth seems sturdy and the quality of the materials is okay, but if I were to keep this and use it as a teaching tool, I would need to draw a grid on the cloth with a paint marker. In addition, I would have maybe made a couple more sets of numbers (1 - In the future, there will be 31) in other colors and, if the season warrants it, some specific holiday.
It was wonderful how big it was. Because it is not overly large like some classroom calendars, I really like it. That's a perfect size for homeschooling, in my opinion. In addition, it is black, which I love! A great quality card is also included with the number cards! Though I haven't yet laminated mine, I am still satisfied with them without lamination.
I decided my 1st grader should be repeated on how the months and days work and the order of the months with the use of this calendar. I wanted to make sure that he knew how the flow of a month goes and how the days work. It wasn't working out well for me when I made my own calendar on a budget. A great thing about this calendar is that it can be used for six There is no doubt that the price is great. The only concern is that it needs to lay flat for a while to uncrease. Nevertheless, one has to expect that.
It was a good value for the money and I liked the fact that it was basic black. I found it to be a bit small, as other reviewers have mentioned. Overall it worked OK for me, but I would have liked Due to the limited number of numbers on each date card, it is not possible to flip to show a different color on the other side. Additionally, there is no card on the table that says "Today is. ". Those would be the only downsides I would point out. Other than that, I am very satisfied with the product.
Cardstock that goes into the pockets is easily torn, but they could be laminated to make them more durable. This calendar material seems to be quite good, and the plastic pockets appear to be fine. You can't put the extra cards you're not using in a drawer, but we manage to There's no doubt it will last for a long time, and the price was right.
