It's a lot of fun to take measurements, draw straight lines, and smack my wife in the backside. For any of those purposes, it comes highly recommended. It appears to be of good quality, and the smacking one produces a pleasant sound. LOL.
I know exactly where I'll keep this one, and all I have to do now is hope no one finds it, because that's how things get misplaced; why doesn't anyone ever return things to their original location? Isn't that the century's most pressing question? LOL This is a fantastic wooden ruler with a metal edge that is always useful. I'm overjoyed to have received it!.
This ruler is extremely durable and far superior to those found in big box stores.
You'll be fine as long as you don't pick at the metal edge on purpose.
I'm not sure what to make of a wooden ruler, but if you need one, this is a good option. It appeals to my tastes.
The wood ruler is longer than 12 inches and has extra wood at the ends, making it difficult to use against an edge because you must subtract/guess how much to adjust your measurement. The ruler's ends aren't zero and twelve inches. The brass strip is too high off the paper/thing you're measuring/marking, and I thought the ruler was a little thick.
I bought this ruler because I use and enjoy the same brand at work. I bought one for my home office because I'm now working from home, but the ruler I got is warped and won't stay on the line item I'm working on. I work with spreadsheets all day, so I need a ruler, but not one that is warped. I'll toss it in the trash because it's less than $2, but I'm disappointed in the product quality. What is the point of a crooked ruler? This is a brand that I would never recommend to a friend!.
