Hello Bill, I have never tried using this tape on cardboard, but if you were looking to secure the cardboard for a short period of time, I believe it would hold together. In terms of long-term adhesion, I believe it would fail. It's best to use this tape on non-absorbent surfaces. surfaces that are porous This tape is used in a paper-based test. One side is adhered to an aluminum anvil with great success. Good luck with the other side, which is stuck to paper and supposed to come apart!
It's not clear, but it looks like beige light masking tape.

It's the thinner tape for fabric, not the thicker tape for picture frames, that you're looking for.
Pieces are truly held together indefinitely. I've been using it for a long time and it has never let me down.
This tape would be ideal for use in a classroom setting. It's what I use to hang things on the walls and write on paper. I don't use it on painted surfaces because it adheres better than masking tape. Large posters can be held up with just two small pieces. br>I did purchase this from Amazon, but it appears to be a different size because it does not appear to be a verified purchase.
I can stack several pieces of 1/8 or 1/4 inch baltic berch plywood together to cut figures on my scroll saw, making it simple to duplicate a large number of figures at once.
HOLDS UP EXTREMELY WELL.
So, what's your take on tape? It's made for my three-year-old son, and it's functional.

This tape was ordered as a replacement for a paper strength test in the lab. There's not much else to say about it except that it did its job.
