I was very pleased with the condition of my package. There is a problem with the compasses. There are no locks to fix them in place and they are fragile. As well as being very small, the protractor is also very small. This was purchased because it received such good reviews, but it disappointed me.
As soon as it arrived, everything appeared to be in order. It comes in a neat package with all the parts looking good. Although the compass was good for the price, I accidentally pulled out the lead when I used it after adding the lead. After unscrewing the chrome piece that makes a pressure fit to hold the lead in place, I realized that the remaining lead is still inside Due to the inside of the tube, the piece of lead is not removable, so it cannot be replaced. As far as I can tell, there is no way to remove that lead section without A design flaw has resulted in the problem. There is a possibility that with pliers I can pry the two halves of the tube apart so that they fall out, but that will harm the tube. The leaded compass is essentially one of the few pieces in the set with this defect, but it is enough to render it useless. It's a shame if otherwise it appears to be in good condition. Be aware that the scales do not measure.
There is nothing right with these compasses. In drawing a circle, the one with pencil bent easily with limited pressure, the one with compass did not stay in place. Although I tightened the screws on top, it still did not.
Buying this for your kid is a bad idea if you are an adult. Unlike the old-school protractor and compass you're used to, this isn't the old-fashioned kind. As much as I can tell, I think I just assumed the same would happen. A hole is not found on the protractor, nor are there any degrees on the compass instrument. The content here will be useful for math students at the advanced level. This is a no for a kid. Buy it at the store instead!.
A new on-the-job training program was started I was taking a line drawing class (but, it was very simple stuff) and I have trouble making perfect circles, so I settled on this set while looking for a protractor. The one with the lead holder has so far proved to be quite useful. A protractor was the last tool I had in my hands. It's better that we don't discuss it. I used it to make holes in my papers, but it could have been used as a weapon as well. I'm amazed at the progress we've made! Having the case keeps everything tidy when I visit the park (once I get He makes his exit at 1926). The entire kit will be perfect for my needs and I know I will be quite pleased with it. While preparing them for donation, we noticed that one set had been opened and some pieces were missing. The sets appeared to be perfect at first glance, but we noticed that one had been opened. Additionally, the actual package was taped. Of the other packages, all of them were self-closing. Damage to this product made it obvious that it should not have been used as a filler. In light of the fact that these are being donated, we would appreciate if the vendor could send us a new set to replace the damaged one.
Great product. Very small and compact. The pieces are perfect for what I need them for, which is a CBRN 3 Report plotting around Chemical BOLCs (Army). A recent update The little led from the one I held in the picture above broke off a couple minutes after I wrote my initial 5 star review. Despite all their efforts, there was no way to fix it, so another one is on the way. There's not a great deal of durability to it. As far as I can tell, it does its job. In addition, you have the option of using a pencil.
The ruler I used did not measure in inches, but in metric units. Children in America do not use cm at all, especially little ones. It is impossible for anyone to even think about CMS.
