My excitement when I saw this product was quickly dashed when I discovered that it came with a The calendar is generally good, and I like that it has many pockets and details that can be used at On the other hand, there is a minor detail at the bottom with the words yesterday, today, tomorrow, season, weather, and In the cases of the cards, the title words are not displayed and it defeats the purpose of learning what day per se "today" In the second calendar, I received it in the same way as the first one. On one of the calendars, I will keep it, and I will need to cut down the cards to make them fit so you can read the titles more clearly. The flaw I'm describing can be found within the pictures of both calendars, and both have the same flaw within them. Other than that, the book is fun and colorful, and it would make a great addition to a daycare center!.
But I am so happy I did. Each card on the list has been added. In the slots and in the storage pockets, the cards fit smoothly. A wide variety of dry erase cards in both square and rectangle formats are included. In the order that makes sense to littles, "YESTERDAY," "TODAY," and "TOMORROW" are in the right place in time. The number of extra "activity" cards is large (i. e. It's a 5 star for me! I think the ONLY downside is the fact there are only five rows for the date numbers, which means that some months may have to be stacked. We can handle that, though. Theodore Brian.
I just received the calendar in the mail. As a result of the temperature, the magnets were constantly expanding on the Melissa and Doug one. There were a few that eventually fell apart or didn't stay put. I feel sturdy when I use this calendar. Unfortunately, the plastic pockets were bent when it arrived since it was folded. Upon checking the back, I found that the material appeared a little stressed from the packaging and folding, but nothing that would warrant a It is hard to choose a favorite among all the cards. All I would suggest is that they be laminated. During the process of ripping them off the template, I accidentally ripped some of them. There is a lot of useful information in the yellow pockets at the bottom. There were some people who hung their calendars with hooks, but I would recommend command strips, as command strips keep the material flat against a surface and train it to flatten with time.
The day before we leave for daycare, my two children, who are 2 and 4, and I go over this routine while putting on our shoes. There is no doubt in my mind that you should use A door hanger that is very easy to use.
From a previous preschool teacher to a current home educator to an eventual elementary teacher (hopefully) to teacher of young children since 2002- I find this to be a really useful The calendar used by my old employer when I taught preschool was the same as this one. I have a 3, almost 4, year old son who enjoys calendar time. He gets the days of the week, dates (one color, wish there were two), months, weather, seasons, and blank slates to draw his own calendar or daily activities (i. e. Family visits, school visits, doctor visits), It would be nice if they provided an educator with appropriate clothing for each type of weather so he or she could talk about what to wear. The 3m command strips and hooks that I have work well for me. It is highly recommended that these pieces be laminated. As they are very thin, they won't be very durable if not laminated.
I think there were a few things that could be improved. As a result, I expected the cards to be I am not sure how long the little hands can hold them. A second column for the date would be useful. As well, there needs to be more space between the titles and the pockets, as the cards cover up the titles. It would have been better if tokens, instead of cards, had been used to mark holidays so that the dates could not be obscured. I also wish that the dates were included in holidays with specific As well as marking today's date, a token could be used. To save space, some of the cards, such as those for the months, could have been double sided. Having said that, that is pretty nitpicky. In general, I am extremely happy with the purchase and would recommend it to others. A lot of extra blank cards are included as well as plenty of storage. A dry erase marker can be used to write on these blank cards. Overall, I like the construction, the stitching is neat, and the titles do not appear to peel off. Yesterday is on top, today is on top, and tomorrow is on top As of today The others are not here tomorrow (I saw others who are not there). I did not experience any problems hanging up using command velcro hooks. We will use it to set up our virtual classroom for our kindergartener, and I think it will be a great addition.
It is a sturdy product. The fact that it has so many inserts for holidays, activities, weather, and so on is wonderful. It is my daughter's favorite part of the day to change the calendar. One star was taken off because there is no year insert, so I had to use a blank one to write the year on. I realize the calendar is constantly changing, but my handwriting insert broke up the flow of the calendar and made it look weird. The product itself is amazing, but aside from that, it's great!.
The graphics are great. The quality is excellent. This was one of the only ones I could find with the yesterday, today and tomorrow in the correct No opinion on the “I feel” section but it's not a problem to leave it out. I have exactly what I need in the cards. My laminated preschool fingers are only for preschoolers! I can even enlarge the space for my cute numbers I use on my calendar! I thought it would fit on my board at school, but it's slightly larger than I expected. Ideally, I would have liked to see a bit more school-related activity cards. It is the section that I use to let people know what related arts we are having that day, so I made my own sets of cards for art, gym, and the library.
