If you're only going to use the dividers with paper in the binder, they're fine. However, if you're using clear plastic sleeves in your binder, these won't extend past those sleeves, making them ineffective. Quality is good, colors are nice, and I have no other issues with the product; however, when paired with the Avery plastic sleeves, they simply vanish.
I would not recommend this product because the plastic dividers are not visible when using the 5 1/2 x 8 1/2 sheet protectors. These dividers are best used with "Samsill 100 Mini Clear Heavyweight Sheet Protectors, Top Loading 7 Hole 5", according to Amazon. 5 x 8. "5 Inch Archival Safe Page Protectors for Mini Ring Binders, Bulk 100 Pack". Because you can't see the dividers (as shown in the photos), don't do it.
I was really looking forward to organizing my recipe book, but as soon as I started putting it together, I realized I had forgotten something. They're much shorter than my page protectors, so they don't show up at all, making them useless as dividers. These should work fine if you just use paper, but they won't work with page protectors, and let's face it, recipes are useless without them. It's all over again.
A standard 6-ring journal binder will not fit these. I'm very disappointed in you. I was in desperate need of these. They were able to withstand a hole punching with my 6-ring hoke punch, but it was unfortunate that I had to do so.
Overall, the product is of excellent quality. They're nice and sturdy, and they do their job well. If you're only going to use paper, this is the way to go. When I used a ballpoint pen to write on it, I ended up smearing everything. If you need dividers for a binder, you can't use page protectors because they're not wide enough. You can't use them for that because the tab doesn't extend past the page protector's edge.
I bought them several times because I couldn't use a mini binder without them. They aren't prone to tearing, are simple to write on, and help me stay organized. It is well-made. Excellent value for money. br>br>I keep mine in Samsill 5-ring binders. 5 x 8. 5 sheets. I place A5-sized papers between the tabs. ripped out and trimmed pages from an Inamio planner It's great to have a variety of surfaces to write and paint on within the same "book," so I add filler paper cut from various journals, watercolor paper, and so on.
For that reason, I adore it, but it's impossible for me to use it. The rings aren't cut to the standard A5 70mm size. I intended to use these in conjunction with my planner. They don't, however, go together. Don't get me wrong: I've got systems to work with. I'm good at putting things together from the ground up. I just needed some nice dividers to help me divide up my planner into sections.
I'm a big fan of these. This isn't the first time I've purchased one. Because they fit better in my bags, I've switched to smaller notebooks. My belongings are separated by the dividers. I can start with maps, then move on to budgeting, and finally to travel information. It is extremely simple to operate.
