I'm so close to printing
4/5

Shop for quality, but keep an eye on your graphic design. I really like how smooth the finish is. Both the inkjet and laser versions of this have worked for me. It's only very close to cutting because the edges are so well perforated. print on the edge- cards from a store Not as thick or durable as print-on-demand. shop, but it's close enough. Only gripe: br>br> It is impossible to have an edge-to-edge relationship. Use cutting-edge graphics on your business card design. There's just enough "wiggle" and misalignment in the way the paper feeds through the printer to make any banner-sized print look unprofessional. As a result, you'll need to keep your graphics within 1/8 of an inch of the card's edges, or they'll run over onto the card above/below/beside it. br>br>Even large-scale-scale-scale-scale-scale-scale-scale scale-scale-scale-scale-scale ish banner that remains on the card can appear off-kilter. Due to printer feed tolerances, the image is centered. br>br>All right, let's get down to business. a different issue: The Avery template in Microsoft Word format is crooked and doesn't always print where it's supposed to. To check for alignment, print a test page and hold it up to the light.

It's of unacceptably poor quality
3/5

My laser printer is an HP Topshot laserjet Pro M275. I've used Avery 8871 cards in the past, which are intended for ink jet printers and thus ostensibly aren't the right kind for my machine, but I've gotten decent results, not great but not bad. These are the cards I send to my clients. So I went with this product, the Avery 5871, which is designed for laser printers, so it should be fine for my machine, and I'm hoping for better results than with the ink jet cards. The results are so bad that I'm embarrassed that my customers will think I scrimped on printing and sent them some low-quality paper, or that I used a printer from 1982. Not only is it a waste of money and time, but it's also harming my image in the eyes of my customers. Take a look at how the toner just falls off the paper when you touch it with your finger. I've never had this issue with any other type of paper I've used, and I've used a variety of them, including hard, relieved card stock. What exactly is going on? This is similar to anti- a sheet of printer paper It needs to be labeled with the following information: "Please do not print anything on this piece of paper- Please do not print!.

JAMS two-sided printers and these were initially difficult to use
3/5

I couldn't figure out the margins in Word until I downloaded the Avery template in Word from their website, which I hated having to do because it required me to create an account. When all I wanted was a paper, now I'll be getting emails from them! br>br>I appreciate the paper's quality and neat edge - BUT - BEWARE- This was used in two different double-decker busses. I had over ten terrible paper jams on both of my sided printers (an HP and a Brother), which were difficult to remove. When you pull the paper out of the printer after it has become jammed, the cards break at the perforated spots, making it nearly impossible to get the entire sheet out. br>br>In the end, for a clean print, I printed one side, manually flipped it, and printed the other side. A couple of pages were slightly crooked when they were printed.

The word "LASER" is prominently displayed on the package, indicating that this item is intended for use with laser printers.
2. My BRAND NEW HP Laser printer was jammed three times.
3. On the instructions page, Avery recommended that you use the Heavy Card Stock setting. The crew is still on duty. PRINTER HAS BEEN REPLACED WITH A NEW ONE. HP. There aren't any flies in this house. manufacturer of the night
4. Fed from this feeding tray, fed from that feeding tray, fed from all possible feeding trays, manual or automatic, all with the same outcome: J- br>I decided against paying Avery money to test their product for them. BUYING IS NOT A GOOD IDEA.

My Brother Printer despises these cards
3/5

My printer is a Brother MFC-EXECUTIVE MFC-EXECUTIVE M 9340CDW is a printer model. I squandered an entire box of paper (most of it after a call to Avery) attempting to print a two-sided card. a sheet with two sides The second sheet (whether it's a separate sheet or the backside of the first sheet) is always jamming. So I worked on one side at a time, and there were constant jams. Then I tried only putting one sheet in the tray (because the printer has an insatiable appetite for five or six sheets at a time). The traffic jams are still there. Manual feeding is recommended by online users, but this machine does not have that capability. br>br>I really like the concept - Create a card that can be used to send a specific message. The execution is a complete disaster - Beware if you're using a Brother machine.

They print beautifully, but I had some issues with a few that refused to cooperate
3/5

Several people have expressed their dissatisfaction with the fact that these do not work well with inkjet printers. These aren't meant to be used with inkjet printers. They're made for laser printers only. If you print these on an inkjet printer, the ink will not dry properly and smear, especially if you print on both sides. Use Avery 8871 for inkjet printers.

Color LaserJet Business Cards (5-Pack) are ideal
5/5

Stars). I purchased this slim pack of Avery clean edge business cards to use with my HP Color Laser Jet printer. Previously, I had used old cardstock from a thrift store. It was stuck on the brand. I eventually figured out that the older stock was for InkJet printers. The problem was instantly solved with this product. I had no idea that cardstock used in various types of printers didn't feed well - I just assumed it was a problem with the print quality. Nope. br>br>The clean edges are truly clean edges, though folding away the outer frame is a little difficult. I created the cards in a PDF file on the Avery website so that I could print them whenever I wanted. Although the image on each card is not perfectly centered, it is close. Unless you use an image to cover the entire card, like I did, you won't notice the slight border misalignment; if you use text, it won't be noticeable. If the logo isn't used as a background, it won't be considered incorrectly placed. br>br>I like the smooth surface and the crisp edges, which make it look like it was professionally printed.
