Pendaflex Classification Folders, Standard, 1 Divider, Embedded Fasteners, 2/5 Cut Tab, Blue, Letter, 10/BX (23730P)

I've been using these folders for years for a variety of purposes around the house. This type of folder appeals to me because it is not flimsy but rather sturdy. I use these folders instead of "normal" folders when I need to transport documents outside the house. I've been purchasing folders like these for years (more than I care to remember) and will continue to do so even if I'm not using them for work.

All of the brackets on the folders in both packs I ordered broke almost immediately, with no signs of wear and tear. When I tried to open the brackets for the second time to add to the folder's content, most of them broke. It was a huge let down. However, I adore the green color and have yet to come across any other folders in this hue.

The total number of tabs is four. I purchased the wrong product and thought I was getting a 6 tab folder; however, these are heavy-duty and will withstand filing abuse over time.

I prefer the older Pendaflex Pressboard Classification Folders (1157R) that had the model number embossed on the back. ) These don't, and they're a little different from the others. The main difference is that the side tab on the old version protruded a little further out, making it more visible and easier to read. Oh well.

The folders that were delivered were of legal size, not letter size. As stated in the product description, this item is sized.

I wish the fasteners were a little longer so they could hold more pages, but otherwise, these are fantastic!.
