C-Line All-Purpose Document Sorter, 2.5 x 23.5 Inch, Blue (30526)

This tool has exceeded my expectations. For decades, I've used document sorters, usually adding labels to tabs with a felt tip pen or putting file folders in a makeshift filing cabinet. In an attempt to increase the number of sections, a shift was made. I've never seen a document sorter as comprehensive as this one. It measures about two feet long by two feet wide. 31 tabs with multiple labels are anchored by a sturdy, slightly flexible base that is 5 inches wide. The letters A-Z can be found at the top of the first 26 tabs. The months are then listed (one per tab). the weekdays (Sunday-Saturday) a Saturday by a factor of ten (0- 100), followed by 100s (100-100-100-100-100-100-100-100-100-100- 1000), then tens of thousands (1000-2000). On the last two tabs, you'll see 10,000, 20,000, and 30,000. The numbers 1- are written on the lower edge of each tab. Every day of the month is represented by a number of 31. The medium blue background of the tabs contrasts nicely with the black letters and numbers. Each tab has a 1/4-inch wide area at the end that is wider than the rest of the flap, making it easy to grasp and lift. Four small rubber feet finish off the mail sorter, protecting your desk. But, as they say, you get what you pay for. I don't sort things very often, once every three months or so. But when I do, I have to sort a lot of things into a lot of different categories at the same time. As a result, in June of 2014, I bought four of these sorters (Style 30526). I've used products with essentially the same design in the past. I could only sort things with one at a time, but with four, I was able to do so quickly. br>br>Unfortunately, one of the units failed after about three uses. To put it another way, the E-mail sorters. J was ejected (only E is shown in the picture). Sorters with the letter F). Thin tabs, it turns out, keep these sorters in place. These tabs have recently snapped - Once again, this is based on normal and infrequent use. I have three other units that work well and that I enjoy using. So why am I giving this three-star product a one-star rating? br>br>I'm not a fan of the company's policies or employees. I dialed C- just to see what he had to say. To ask about a warranty, call this number. There is no guarantee of any kind. In fact, the lady told me rather rudely that the products aren't meant to last forever and that I should just go out and buy another one. I'm willing to put up with poor customer service and no warranty if the product is exceptional. The fact that these units are around $15 is the only saving grace. But that isn't incredible enough for me. br>br>I'll just make do with the three I have left until they break, at which point I'll replace them with something better.

REALLY! Go ahead. Please double-check my facts. You're in for a treat if you've never used a strip sorter before! Have you ever had to sort through mountains of paper, piles of checks, or years of receipts? This handy tool will drastically reduce the amount of time you spend sorting. Simply slide your left hand down the tabs to the one you require, lift it a few inches, and insert the paper with your right hand, then slide your left hand to the next tab required. Book-style sorters are much slower and more difficult to use. You can either remove the documents you need one at a time or pull them all out at once into a sorted and tidy pile. br>br>Be creative. 2 x 2 x 2 x 2 x 2 x 2 x 2 To alphabetize large jobs, use the left side. One should be devoted to bills, which should be sorted according to their due dates. Another should be set aside for medical bills, so that they can be easily matched with insurance payments. At this price, you could even dedicate one to each active project in order to capture and organize work-in-progress. documentation on the progress br>br>Only two drawbacks can be found. First and foremost, do not become sluggish or obnoxious. This is a well-made tool, but cramming too much paper into one slot or yanking on the tabs too hard may cause them to pull out. Yes, you can usually reinstall them, but it's a hassle. br>Second, think twice about sharing information. If you don't intend to give these away as gifts, be aware that everyone will want to borrow your strip sorter and. It's possible that this will catch you off guard. They'll forget to return it on their own!.

I'm a high school teacher, and I've only recently begun having my students turn in their work by sorting it by last name in the sorter. I had never alphabetized my students' work before because I didn't want to waste time (I have 170 students per day). It has already saved me time in recording grades and returning papers in the two weeks that I have been using it. And the students think it's a lot of fun. I've already placed an order for another one for those days when they have multiple assignments to complete.

So it came as a shock when I found myself in need of one again, this time to alphabetize a zillion forms for my daughter-in-law. business of the law She is extremely competent in her field, but organization is not one of her strong suits. Fortunately, it appears to be one of mine, and I quickly realized that I would need this tool to assist me in doing so. It makes alphabetizing a breeze and is built to last.
