The quality is poor. These folders aren't "awful," but they aren't particularly good either. The quality of the binding is the most serious issue. Staples is where we usually get our folders, but our local Staples store recently closed. So, I found these on Amazon, and as a bonus, they were cheaper, which piqued my interest until I tried them out. br>You know what they say. What you pay for is exactly what you get. Instead of sturdy cardboard, the binding is made of cheap, thick paper that tears easily. If you're looking for something CHEAP and more for STORAGE than for USAGE, this is the product for you. these should be bought If you want a high-quality product that can withstand repeated use. Staples is a good place to buy from. It's well worth the additional expense.
Be aware that the red is not the reddish brown shown in the photo, but rather a brighter red color, at least on the ones I received. Also, these are regular file folders, not the more durable pressboard files. Overall, the price was reasonable, and they work well. However, I believe I will purchase the more durable ones next time.
