Questions & Answers
I attached the desks with packing tape. Unless a child pulls it off, the tape will stay in place indefinitely. That was a rare occurrence in my life.
I laminated them and added Velcro dots to the top corners of the back corners. If I need to relocate a child, I simply move the name tag along with them.
No, we don't have any adhesive sleeves available. They are frequently laminated and heavy-weight paper is used by teachers. To secure them to the desks, use heavy-duty clear tape.
These aren't stickers, so don't expect to see them. I taped them to my students' desks with mailing tape.

Every year, I purchase these for my second-graders. There are always extras for new students or when they start to wear out because they come in a pack of 36. Due to the fact that they are made of cardstock, they are prone to wear and tear. To strengthen them, I laminate them and secure them with packing tape. My students frequently use the number line at the top, as well as the 100's chart, to solve addition and subtraction problems. I chose this version this year because I like the addition chart, which is similar to a multiplication table, that it includes to assist struggling math students with quick addition facts. Other types, I'm sure, have a chart with reading strategies as well. All upper and lowercase letters are properly formed in the letters at the top. The vowels should be highlighted or a different color, at the very least. I like to underline the lowercase b/d to aid reversals for my struggling readers/writers. These are a good size, unlike some other versions, which are quite small. The price is also comparable to what I've seen in other teaching supply stores.
They're big enough to cover almost the entire student desk. It includes a multiplication chart as well as a ruler. Because the images are so large, students can easily see them. Before writing their names on the name tags, I laminated them so that I could reuse them.
In my classroom, I love using these. They've been a part of my life for about 15 years. I place an order for a plastic cover for them to be placed in. They are good for a whole year.
For the money, this is a good deal. This product is excellent, but it is not adhesive; however, this review requires me to rate the adhesion and removal. They didn't appear to be adhesive, and the product description makes no mention of them being so. As a result, they're exactly what I was hoping for. I'm happy with my purchase, though adhesive would have been a plus.
In second grade, I used these kinds of desk plates for several years. Now that I'm in third grade, I'd like to use multiplication tables with my students. Because the tables are so small, the students have a hard time keeping track of the vertical and horizontal numbers in order to find their answers. They may be able to do this to check themselves once they've mastered the procedure, but they're having trouble right now.
In terms of lasting longer than two weeks of school, these are the worst name tags I've ever bought for my class. Several of my coworkers and I used the self-adhesive ones. workers. We were going over them with clear heavy duty packing tape minutes after putting them down to make sure they stayed put. It has been nine weeks since the start of the school year. I had to go around and use heavy duty tape to tape over 18 desktop name plates. I'm going to remove everything and replace it with something else, but I'm going to put it inside the stick down pockets. I'm hoping for a better outcome; I like the look of the nametags, but not the adhesive.
These educational activity mats are so much fun. It came in handy for my kindergarten-aged daughter. It's also something I take with me to author and craft events.
They're used a lot by the kids. To make them more durable, I laminate them.
