In one of the ones I purchased, I cut into it, and found that it was copper throughout. There is a price-per-unit that is HIGHER than the cost of the product An ounce of copper may seem like a lot, but considering the quality of the cast, the price is reasonable. This is useful as a teaching tool, as the periodic table entry for copper is engraved in the ring. When not in use as teaching materials, I use them as interesting paper weights.

What do you mean by warmth? OK, I can't quite understand how this item is supposed to keep me warm, since it was cold when it arrived, so it stayed cold, since Copper is a good conductor of heat

I appreciate its nice finish, uniform thickness and how it looks in my vase. It cost a lot less than the ones designed for the purpose, yet I bet it will generate more conversations than a copper flower in a vase.

It's small, but perfect for taking out of your pocket and turning it into a conversation starter. the detail on the periodic table of elements at the bottom and that it is made in the U. S. A. There was an interesting piece to it, and it arrived in a small plastic bag. It was well protected and relatively fast, given I opted for It would have been nice to have it come with a keychain slot or something to attach to it as a case, but that is my preference.

This copper plate is a delightful little piece of quality. If it came in matching versions for gold, silver, titanium, etc. , I would be in heaven. I'll keep it in the ziplock it comes in, as it will likely discolor if I don't.
