These chairs were purchased for a pre-wedding event. school and a Sunday School classroom for kindergarten students. The opening isn't particularly large (probably about 1-inch wide). 1/2"), and we've never had an issue with a child's arm becoming stuck. The chairs are extremely popular among them.

This is fantastic. I purchased the 10in for my Kindergarten classroom, and they are a little short, but not too bad! They are successful. Much more durable than the stools I had previously. This purchase has made me extremely happy! My only gripe is the enormous back stickers, which are nearly impossible to remove.
They appear to be sturdy because I can sit on them and they do not fold. They are simple to clean and provide sufficient seating for children.
I purchased two sizes - one small and one large. The sizes are 12 and 14 inches respectively. Climbing in the shorter ones is ideal for toddlers. Preschoolers will benefit from the 14-inch height. At the end of the day, they stack neatly for storage. Even the older children can assist in stacking them! Our wood/laminate floors are not scratched by the feet, which are made of the same material as the rest of the chairs. I expect these to last a long time, and I can use them to sit on while working with the kids at the table.
These are excellent children's chairs, and they come in a six-pack for a low price. I have two young children, ages 5 and 8, who can comfortably sit at a coffee table in these chairs. There are no crevices for food or debris to hide in, and they are simple to clean. My daughter loves to tip in chairs, so the rear legs are angled just right to make it very difficult to tip in. She hasn't been able to tip them in yet because it would require a crazy angle, so that's a plus!.
