That's not the case.
Although they were in a bag, they were shipped in a box. There should be no reason to be concerned about possible damage. My package arrived safely and promptly.
I don't mind using Gesso at all.

They are efficient and effective at what they do. I use them to stain wood; they're inexpensive, so they're "good value for money," but I wish they were more evenly sturdy. When you pull the foam off, the handle and the small piece of plastic that holds the foam in place aren't even a third of the size of the foam. It eliminates pressure along the edges of the foam. If that makes any sense.
MONEY SHOULDN'T BE SPENT IN THIS WAY. CHEAP AF! As soon as I swiped one time, it fell apart. The dollar store is more qualified. DO NOT THROW AWAY YOUR MONEY. horrible.
When I tried to apply varnish to it, it fell apart.
I was extremely dissatisfied with the quality of the product. This is not a product I would recommend for painting, blending colors on canvases, or varnishing. If you want something of good quality, don't buy these.
I'm actually taking a break from working on my project to write this review. The brushes break off the handle after about three minutes of use, which is a complete waste of money. The only positive aspect of this product is that with 24 per package, I might be able to stain for an hour or two. br>br>Avoid this product.
These are far superior to the less expensive alternatives, and they do not disintegrate after a few uses. I can reuse these brushes multiple times before discarding them, whereas the other brands I bought were primarily for one-time use. These are what I use to stain small woodcrafts.
These are fine for slapping on paint (I use them for Acrylic/Latex paints), but don't expect smooth results. I purchased these after being unable to locate a reliable source for Jen brushes, which I had been using for many years. Jen brushes are simply superior in terms of quality. Brushes with more density and softer bristles than these.
After about three minutes of use as a finishing brush, the first one I tried disintegrated. I had to pick out pieces of foam stuck in the finish (which took an hour) in order to save the project, and I threw the other 23 in the trash. My finish was also contaminated by the foam chunks, so I had to discard it as well.
