What you pay for is exactly what you get
5/5

So, while "Pro Grade" may be a misnomer, you can tell this is your standard $ by looking at the picture. Foam brush for 50 cents. These are fine for "one and done" projects, which is what I use them for, and anyone who wants or expects a "pro grade" foam brush and buys this does not know what a pro grade foam brush looks like. I use them to apply stain or paint, then discard them. For the value, I give this a five-star rating. The Wooster brand is a good choice if you want a long-lasting foam brush.

A flimsy foam brush with a wooden handle from the dollar store
3/5

These brushes aren't even close to being professional. Terrible. Flimsy. I thought I was reordering the ones I usually get, which are great, but the foam isn't dense enough, so paint runs. Unfortunately, I was given this nonsense. On the left is a good pro, and on the right is a "pro. " The foam has a noticeable difference.

This is not a professional grade product
3/5

It's not even close to being professional! I'm in the middle of a major renovation and use a lot of foam brushes. This most recent batch has been a complete disaster! They become limp and floppy after a few strokes, making painting, staining, varnishing, and other applications nearly impossible. Because I have to get a new one every few minutes, I'm going through them 10 times faster. It also wastes paint.

Foam brushes of poor quality and low absorption
3/5

These aren't exactly "professional" quality. This is the second time I've bought something from this vendor. The first purchase went well, and I was happy with the quality, so I ordered again a few years later. The foam is of poor quality and has a lot of open pores in it. Rather than absorbing the polyurethane I'm trying to use, it tends to resist it, which means you'll have to return to the can more frequently to re-apply it. The brush should be charged. It irritates me tremendously. I'm not going to buy anything else from the internet. I went to my local hardware store and was able to visually inspect the quality, ensuring that I was getting the higher quality, even if it cost more ($1). 00 for each brush).

Much better than I had anticipated
5/5

Excellent value for money. I was expecting them to be of comparable quality to those found in big box stores, but they are far superior. They have a firm grip. The stain/urethane blends beautifully and is extremely durable. Any bubbles they leave can be easily removed with a light brush stroke. Here's a tip that has proven to be effective in my experience. I'm refinishing cabinet doors and drawers, which is taking weeks because I only have space for two at a time. I was going through two or three brushes per week because they were drying out between uses. After each use, I place the brush in a zipper lock bag and place it in the freezer. When I'm ready to use it again, I just thaw it for a few minutes. It doesn't dry out, lasts for weeks, and I get a lot of doors out of it before I have to replace it.

I've never used a pro-grade foam brush like this before
3/5

These brushes aren't what I'd call professional. They are very flimsy to use and do not have the same profile as the pictures. I've used higher-end foam brushes in the past, and these fall short. Although the price was reasonable and the shipping time was excellent, the quality of the product was subpar. I began to wonder if I had received the incorrect package.

For quality finishes, these are far too soft and flimsy
3/5

If you need foam brushes to apply anything thicker than light water-based products or solvents, this set isn't for you. When using regular Minwax Polyshades, these brushes became saturated so quickly that they were practically useless in just a few minutes. I discovered that these brushes work best and retain their shape when used with light water-based painting (i. e. washed in white).

Brushes made of foam, okay? When it comes to these types of foam brushes, I usually go for the cheapest option, which is exactly what I did with this package
3/5

I usually use them for a single occasion. I've had good luck so far, but the first three or four in this package snapped after only a few seconds of use. It's not where the wood handle meets the plastic, but where the foam meets it - which is then attached to the wood handle Oh well, some things are meant to be won and some are meant to be lost. For a few dollars more, you can get a different brand. br>br>Creative+ paraphrase: They held together after I added a few more. Foam is still a bit flimsy and quickly degrades. I believe it would suffice for small projects.
