These were purchased for use in a ceramics class. They were perfect! I expected them to be hard, like some yellow sponges I had previously, but they were incredibly soft, and I'll be saving the leftovers for future painting projects. These are what I use to throw my wheels. They have a pleasant texture and suit my needs when throwing clay. It's best to buy a large bag of them because they start to degrade after a few months. They decompress significantly once they begin to break down.

I haven't used them yet, but I plan to use them to keep my evaporative cooler pads from leaking. I'll place them between the cooler pad and the outer edge of the vents to keep water from leaking onto the ground. A small piece of sponge works well, but these should be even better. Thanks.
