Yes, it can; I had to reduce the size to fit my cross-stitch piece.
Perhaps, depending on the diploma's size. However, I'm concerned that the adhesive will react with the diploma paper over time, causing it to be ruined. Also, I don't believe the paper can be removed once it has been adhered to the adhesive. As a result, if the alignment isn't quite right. You run the risk of tearing your diploma while attempting to make changes.
It's about 1/16" thick and can be inserted into a variety of picture frames with the cross stitch attached.
Because this mat is fairly sturdy, it could be used as a mounting board within your frame. If necessary, you can also cut it.

No way. This is exactly what I needed to finish a needlework project, but the items I received were so old that the peel off backing was stuck to the board; skip this and go to a Hobby Lobby or Michael's to get a new pack to work with.
There is only one flaw in this excellent board. The paper that you peel away to get to the sticky board isn't easy to peel away. It's great once you get it going, but I had trouble getting the board to separate before I could peel off the paper part, which I was able to smooth out by pressing it with my finger. It's possible that the peeling procedure could be improved. I'll use them again in the future. It's a good value.
It shows a frame and asks you to choose between white and black, but there is no frame included. My picture began to peel away from the adhesive the next morning after I had applied it.
This was recommended to me online, and I'm glad I bought it. I was able to frame my cross stitches and give them as gifts because they were perfect. It's extremely sticky and ideal for use as a display item. I'll be purchasing again without a doubt.
I needed a way to display a small embroidery piece that my mother had finished. We cut this mounting board to fit the frame and centered the fabric on it before inserting it into the frame and covering it with the backing. It was a breeze to put together and it turned out beautifully.
The product did exactly what it said it would do. I used it to mount an 8 x 8 cross stitch project; I used a craft knife to trim off the extra 2 inches, and it was simple to secure (and reposition) the project as needed.
But, for certain stitched pieces, I'd prefer it if you brought back the padded boards - They were perfect for needlepoint. Although I was aware that old padded boards were not acid free, I recently discovered and used an old padded board that was acid free! Thank you very much.
I'm also going to order more needlepoint canvas in the heavier 14 pt mesh. I'm sure it'll work just fine for that as well. These bulletin boards are fantastic!.
