For my jeans, it worked fine and I have washed them twice since then without failing.
This product did not appeal to me My instructions were followed, but it did not work on very heavy fabrics and it did not work on light fabrics either.
I think it works pretty well. They were on curtains last year when I bought them, and they look great still. In the event that I wash them, I am not sure how they will look
