Questions & Answers

What would be the best way to stabilize my shoulder seams with this item?

I decided to purchase the 5/8 inch roll because of that reason. A scrap sample of the fabric that will be used in the finished garment should always be used as a test, so as not to be surprised. I hope you have a good time.

Could this work for a fabric with a flowy design?

If the fabric is flowy, I think it would work fine. The jersey knit I used was very thin, so it worked well. Since it is an adhesive, and not an interfacing, I do not see why it would not

What is the best way to repair a small hole in a T-shirt A T-shirt?

Hemming tape is not what you were looking for, so I don't think you would need that. It would be best to do it by hand with a ladder stitch if it is

It would have been better to try this a long time After I got a coverstitch machine and found out that this stuff came highly recommended, I never knew they made stretchy hem tape
5/5

The fuse is perfect for stitching down a stretchy hem before finishing it off. I never thought I could do it, but after I made a few knit shirts and found that the hems held up after washing, I realized I could tackle it and it turned out to be not that hard. This is what I'm looking for!.

Curved hems are no problem with this method
5/5

The paper, which allows you to iron through it, is an excellent choice for curved hems as it allows you to iron through it in the first step. As a result, I have to snip into the tape in order to follow the curve, which I can't do with a.

Knits are no longer an issue with this sewing game changer! The material has truly made hemming knits painless
5/5

I used to dread it with my twin needle, but this stuff has changed things for the better. It keeps its stretch and has no pins/clips, straight hems that do not curl. What more could you want? I bought the Lite version after I run through the Ultra version and I love it for lighter knits just as much. As well as the weight that this tape gives to the hem, I also appreciate its thickness. Even though it is slightly less noticeable with the Lite, the tape adds a subtle touch to the drape that gives the bottom hem a little extra flare. Dresses and tunics seem to look especially nice when it is used. Although this is not a sponsored post, I would CERTAINLY become a "brand ambassador" for it if I was given the chance. I will never not have this sewing toolkit in my sewing room once now that I know it exists.

You shouldn't be without this sewing essential
5/5

The best way to get a smooth, professional hem when sewing or modifying knit or stretch fabrics is using this tape. It took me about six minutes to cut Then I cut the long part into eighths, and then I cut one inch pieces out of that. Those are ironed just below the raw edge of the hem (wrong side of the fabric), one by one, leaving about an eighth of an inch between each seam. You can then proceed with fusing directions once you have gone around all the way. With it, you can create a smooth, durable, no-sew hem, and sewing with knits has no longer been a hassle!.

Perhaps the fabric on which I used this was too heavy for it to work
3/5

As long as I followed directions, the SoftStretch adhered to the hem without a The paper peeled off easily once it had cooled, leaving the adhesive Turning up the hem and ironing it did the trick. I have NOTHING to do with a stick. In other words, total and complete waste of time. High heat is required for SoftStretch, and this fabric is able to handle it. A lighter fabric may burn if it is heated too much. It is not something that I will order.

It was not a good performance! I was so disappointed by this
3/5

It all started when I made myself a shirt with fabric that I loved. It came out fantastic, then this As I was using it to sew the bottom before hemming, it is difficult to separate the tape from the paper. My hands were soaked in water for over an hour since I couldn't get any adhesion between the paper and the leather. I have even tested it out before and it worked well. Unfortunately, I waited too long to return it, so I cannot even do that now. The next time I go shopping, I'll choose something different.

I was able to get it to work without any problems
5/5

An asymmetrical hem had to be added to a jumpsuit made of I was so surprised at how easy this was. After folding up the hem to the size I wanted, ironing on the tape, peeling off the paper topping, and ironing the fabric to the tape, I was done. Flick the garment over from one side to the other as you sew. You did a terrific job!.

A knit hem is easy to do
5/5

I turn to this when I need to Before coverstitching knit hems, it is necessary to create and stabilize them. If using a twin needle on a household sewing machine, it prevents tunneling as well.
